Job Posting Title: Student Worker - Office of the Registrar ---- Hiring Department: Office of the Registrar ---- Position Open To: All Applicants ---- Weekly Scheduled Hours: 15 ---- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt from FLSA ---- Earliest Start Date: May 15, 2026 ---- Position Duration: Expected to Continue Until May 15, 2028 ---- Location: UT MAIN CAMPUS ---- Job Details: Purpose Student workers work closely with full-time staff and as part of a student worker pool. Our office is looking for students who are flexible, friendly, effective written and verbal communicators, and able to work well alone and with a team. The ideal candidate will also have a background in customer service, a strong sense of integrity and confidentiality, and must be able to demonstrate the ability to take initiative. Work Study and Non-Work Study possible.
All training necessary will be provided.

Responsibilities • Directing incoming calls
• Answering inquiries from students and alumni
• Special projects and assignments through office-wide including data entry
• Assistance with digitization of documents,
• User testing for online systems and webpages
• Organizing and processing diploma and transcript mail outs,
• Working with web design team and communication team,
• Assisting with office events
• Assisting in training of new student workers, and
• Presentation design (PowerPoint, music, video, etc.)
Required Qualifications • Freshman or sophomore classification only
Preferred Qualifications • Background in customer service • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Salary Range $14 per hour
Working Conditions • Work to be performed in a typical office environment
Work Shift • 10-15 hours per week - Summer hours may allow more.
