THE ROLE  

We are looking for   Cooks   to join our team at New Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, NY. As a Cook, you   are   responsible for   producing all assigned menu items in an efficient and consistent manner while following Legends’ specifications, recipes and technique and   maintaining   sanitation standards .   If you are looking to be a part of the excitement and energy of live stadium events, this is your opportunity to join a fast-paced and team-oriented environment !

ESSENTIAL DUTES AND RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Follows Executive Chef, Sous   Chefs   and/or Culinary Supervisors/Leads assignments for opening and closing procedures and food preparation.  

• Prepares food items by   complying with   portion   size, quality standards, departmental rules,   policies   and procedures.  

• Maintains   HACCP standards ensuring a high-quality level of food, food temperatures, rotation of product,   cleanliness   and sanitation standards .  

• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen including walk-in coolers, dry storage, shelves, walls,   floors   and drains.  

• Ensures all food preparation equipment is clean ,   sanitized ,   and kept in a safe and operable condition; report issues to lead or supervisor .  

• Other duties as assigned .  

QUALIFICATIONS

• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age .  

• ServSafe   Allergens and Food Handler, preferred or ability to   attain   the required food safety certifications prior to working events .  

• Elevated time management, organizational, and prioritizing skills .  

• Ability to lift and transport food and other items weighing up to 30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.  

• Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays including all games and major stadium and catering events .  

• Practice safe work habits, follow all safety   policies and procedures   and regulations, complete company-wide safety   training   and   additional   job specific safety training .  

COMPENSATION  

Competitive salary   of $1 8 -$20/ hr.   c ommensurate   with experience .

• Constant standing, twisting, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions.   

• Ability to work in all weather conditions.   

• Exposure to loud noises (i.e., fireworks, voices, and audio systems), flashing lights, and extreme heat/cold  

• Ability to lift/move/maneuver up to 50 lbs.
