ForgeApply reads company job boards every day and keeps a corpus of open US tech roles. The connector hands that corpus to Claude as a set of lookups it can run mid-conversation, so the job search stops being a separate tab. As of August 2026 that is 68,000+ active postings across 2,900+ companies, of which 27,000+ publish a salary range and 23,000+ carry a visa-sponsorship signal.

Open connector settings in Claude
In the Claude app, go to Settings, then Connectors. This is available on the web app and the desktop app.
Add a custom connector
Choose Add custom connector and paste the ForgeApply endpoint URL below. There is no sign-in step and no API key to generate.

Claude chains these on its own. Ask it to find sponsoring roles above a salary floor and then read the three best descriptions, and it will run several lookups before answering.

Pull the full description, salary, work arrangement and direct apply link for a single posting — the input Claude needs to write against a specific role.
Look up salary ranges
Percentiles for a role, optionally by location, computed from pay ranges employers published on postings that are open today. Not survey data.
Check employer visa sponsorship
Whether a named employer appears to sponsor, from how its postings are worded plus recent approved H-1B petitions in USCIS data.

Every active posting we track for one employer, with the disclosed pay spread and how many roles are remote.
Permissions and privacy
The connector is read-only. It cannot create, modify or delete anything, cannot submit an application, and cannot spend money. There is no account to connect and no password to hand over.
It receives only the search terms in the question being answered — a role title, a city, a company name. It has no access to your Claude conversations, your files, or any ForgeApply account you may separately have.

What it does not cover
Worth knowing before you rely on an answer.
- US tech roles — engineering, design, data and product. It is not a general job board.
- Sourced from company Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workable boards. That is a large sample of how tech companies hire, not the entire labor market.
- Salary figures come only from postings that publish a range. Postings that do not are excluded from the maths rather than guessed at.
- Sponsorship signals are indicative, never a guarantee. A posting that is silent at an employer with recent H-1B approvals is reported as likely, not yes — confirm with the recruiter.
- Active postings only. Roles that close are retired daily, so a job you saw last week may be gone.
Common questions
Do I need a ForgeApply account?
No. The connector is read-only and unauthenticated — there is nothing to log into and nothing to pay for. A ForgeApply account is only needed for resume tailoring and application autofill, which live in the web app and the Chrome extension.
Can it apply to jobs for me?
No. Every tool in the connector reads data; none of them can create, change or delete anything. Filling and submitting an application is done by the ForgeApply Chrome extension, with you clicking submit.
What can it see about me?
Only the search terms in the question you ask. The connector has no access to your Claude conversations, files or account, and it does not create anything in your name.
How current is the data?
Company job boards are re-read daily. New postings appear within a day and closed roles are retired, so results reflect what is genuinely open rather than an archive.
Why does it only cover four job boards?
Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby and Workable are what tech companies actually use, and they publish structured postings we can read accurately. Scraping aggregators would add volume and ghost jobs in equal measure.
Where does the salary data come from?
The pay range the employer put on the posting. Sites like Glassdoor and Levels.fyi rely on self-reported figures from candidates; these are the numbers the company committed to in writing on a job that is open right now.
