Common questions
The ForgeApply bar doesn't appear on a job page
- The extension currently supports application pages on Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, and Workable. On other sites the bar won't appear.
- Make sure you're on the job's application form (the page with First name / Last name fields), not just the description.
- Refresh the page once after installing or updating the extension.
Auto-Fill filled something incorrectly
Every field ForgeApply touches is labeled — green ("Auto-filled") for high confidence, yellow ("Review") where you should double-check. You can edit any field before submitting; nothing is ever submitted on your behalf. If a field is consistently wrong, update it in your profile at forgeapply.com/profile and tell us so we can improve the matching.
My resume shows "reading resume" or failed to parse
Head to your resumes and use Try again. PDFs parse most reliably; if your file is a scan or image-based PDF, export a text-based PDF and re-upload. Still stuck? Email us the file and we'll sort it out.
Resume/CV tailors and cover letters
Tailor Resume and Cover Letter share one tailor per job — using both on the same job costs a single tailor. Free trial accounts get 5 tailors for the 7-day trial, Starter includes 40 per month, and Pro is unlimited. Manage your plan at forgeapply.com/billing.
Billing and refunds
Subscriptions are handled by Stripe. You can cancel anytime from the billing page — access continues through the end of the paid period. If something looks wrong with a charge, email us and we'll make it right.
Deleting your account and data
Email support@forgeapply.com from your account address and we'll delete your account. Personal data is removed within 30 days and uploaded resume files are deleted immediately, as described in our Privacy Policy.
