By accessing or using ForgeApply ("the Service"), operated by ForgeApply ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ForgeApply is an AI-powered job application assistant that helps users optimize resumes, generate cover letters, find job listings, and manage their job search. The Service includes free and paid subscription tiers.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time through your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI (including tailored resumes, cover letters, and suggestions) is provided as a starting point. You are solely responsible for:

  • Reviewing all AI-generated content for accuracy
  • Ensuring your resume and applications contain only truthful information
  • Any content you submit to employers

We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will result in interviews, job offers, or employment.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to create fraudulent or misleading job applications
  • Fabricate qualifications, experience, or credentials
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to access our systems beyond normal use
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Exceed rate limits or abuse API endpoints

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your resume content and personal data. Content generated by our AI for your use is licensed to you for personal and professional job-seeking purposes. ForgeApply retains ownership of the Service, its design, algorithms, and brand.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using ForgeApply, you consent to the collection and use of data as described therein.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForgeApply shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of employment opportunities, resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be suitable for any particular purpose.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may export your data before termination.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
