Job Posting Title: Work Study: Administrative Intern - Dept. of Nutritional Sciences ---- Hiring Department: Department of Nutritional Sciences ---- Position Open To: All Applicants ---- Weekly Scheduled Hours: 15 ---- FLSA Status: Non-Exempt from FLSA ---- Earliest Start Date: Aug 17, 2026 ---- Position Duration: Expected to Continue Until May 15, 2027 ---- Location: UT MAIN CAMPUS ---- Job Details: Purpose To provide administrative support to the general office staff and faculty in the department of Nutritional Sciences.
Responsibilities This position will provide an opportunity to directly support the operations of the Department of Nutritional Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin. Duties include design and creation of media materials, posting to social media accounts, assisting with special events and projects, physical inventory and operations training, and other administrative office tasks. Preference will go to those with experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Word, Canva, and social media platforms. The position has flexibility with scheduling.
Required Qualifications • Excellent communication skills. • Social media experience. • Canva or other design experience. • Work-study approved.
Salary Range $15 hour
Working Conditions Typical office working environment. Repeated use of computer and keyboard.
