Summary of Job Duties: The Web Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all of the Law School’s web presence. Working closely with the web team at University Relations on the main campus, the Webmaster will create and develop Law School web technologies and infrastructure to facilitate and enhance the communication goals of the Law School. The Webmaster will design and implement database driven application solutions to meet the end-user requirements of all Law School affiliated personnel and will design metrics and analyze the communication effectiveness of the Law School’s web presence. The Webmaster will manage all Law School web projects from initiation to completion.
Duties include: • Manage and maintain all Law School web pages. • Manage all Law School web projects from initiation to completion. • Work with University Relations web team to coordinate strategies. • Design metrics and analyze communication effectiveness. • Develop, implement, and manage web presence and digital content. • Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to enhance web strategies. • Ensure compliance with accessibility, privacy, and institutional guidelines. • Analyze effectiveness of web communications and adapt strategies as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Fluency with digital accessibility and WCAG standards. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively and provide customer service. • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment. • Commitment to high-quality service and collegial, team-oriented attitude. • Web development and application software proficiency • Organizational and prioritization skills • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
This position will occasionally require the following physical activities: vision; manipulating items with fingers, including keyboarding; sitting and talking.
This is an in-person position, not a remote position. Extensive in-person engagement in both supervisory activities and formal and informal interactions with colleagues contributes to successful leadership, coordination, and collaboration and is essential to the expectations for this position.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in web design, computer science, communications or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education
• At least four years of full-time professional experience in web management and design including form development and development of web applications
• Documented experience with current web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, Javascript, content management systems, building and troubleshooting web applications, and digital content management)
