Role Definition Exercise decision-making authority to prepare, review, book, and fund financial transactions.
Responsibilities • Collecting and checking documents, such as corporate documents and signing authority documentation, to ensure legal enforceability. • Ensuring transactions are correctly documented and booked correctly into the system of record. • Supporting and coordinating workflow for the funding processes. • Generating regular and ad-hoc reports of the fund administration and distributing to dealers and vendors.
Degree Requirement Degree or equivalent experience desired
Skill Descriptors
Finance and Accounting: Knowledge of finance and accounting practices, financial analysis, and reporting; ability to apply finance knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Level Working Knowledge: • Works with general ledger accounts. • Differentiates between capital investments and expenses. • Uses finance and accounting systems, procedures and practices. • Interprets profit and loss statements, balance sheets and financial forecasts. • Resolves questions about finance and accounting policies and practices.
Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
Level Working Knowledge: • Accurately gauges the impact and cost of errors, omissions, and oversights. • Utilizes specific approaches and tools for checking and cross-checking outputs. • Processes limited amounts of detailed information with good accuracy. • Learns from mistakes and applies lessons learned. • Develops and uses checklists to ensure that information goes out error-free.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
