This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.
As part of a diverse and hardworking team of experts you will directly work with program and operations stakeholders and partners, to ensure successful new product introduction and sustainable rate for the New Glenn 9x4 Orbital launch vehicle. This position will support all aspects of project management to include cost, schedule, technical design, and risk management as well as working with company’s internal organizations and suppliers.

We're Hiring at Multiple Levels We are considering candidates across multiple levels for this role. Your level will be determined by the depth of your experience and the scope you're ready to own: • Technical Project Manager II - You have working project management experience in a technical environment and are ready to own defined work packages within a Work Center. You maintain schedules and WBS elements, identify and log risks, and coordinate day-to-day activity across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain partners with support from senior team members.
• Technical Project Manager III - You independently own a complete project or Work Center end to end. You build and own the project schedule, WBS, and resource plan; own the risk register and author the abatement plans; and drive cross-functional commitments with function leads, suppliers, and program managers; represent readiness and escalations to executive leadership with guidance
• Technical Project Manager, Senior - You bring expert project management experience in a technical environment and own the integration of multiple projects or Work Centers. You architect integrated schedules, drive critical-path and rate-readiness strategy, make trade calls across cost, schedule, and technical risk, represent readiness and escalations to executive leadership, and mentor other Technical Project Managers.
Responsibilities: • End-to-end ownership of artifacts required to take assigned Work Centers from design to sustained production in partnership with Subject Matter Experts.
• Create and use standard formats for data aggregation and reporting to executive leadership on readiness, escalations, help needs, and wins.
• Track design release, Make/Buy parts, all required tooling, t emplate work orders , non-conformances, and anything required for timely Production start and sustainment in coordination with responsible functions.
• Support the SMEs during the build.
• Partner with engineering hardware design teams, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, suppliers, and program leadership to ensure the timely delivery of critical flight and R&D hardware including (but not limited to) budget, engineering schedules, procurement schedules, supplier schedules, and program management status reports.
• Communicate risks and risk abatement plans to management.
• Transition products from concept, to development phase.
Qualifications: • Effective written and communication skills in technical work environments
• Expert experience in project management in a technical environment
• Self-starter, strong bias for action
• Experience with Microsoft Project and balancing internal and external schedules
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired: • Experience in manufacturing engineering in the aerospace industry
• Experience working with various fabrication vendors
• Experience with assembly and integration of spacecraft/launch vehicles
• Experience with CAD and PLM software
• Working familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and/or other team collaboration software tools
