We are seeking a Systems Engineer I to join our Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) team. The successful candidate will provide essential support in the development and documentation of requirements and interfaces, as well as design analysis, modeling and simulation, system integration, and trade studies. You will play a critical role in ensuring system compliance through the documentation and execution of system verification processes.  This position is a Full-Time, On-Site located in Indianapolis, Indiana in support of Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE &TC)

What You Will Do • Provide basic support developing and documenting requirements and interfaces • Provide basic support developing,Documenting, and executing system verification to show compliance • Integrate software and hardware subsystems • Follow a structured data driven approach to solve problems • Contribute to the completion of Project/program milestones under the general guidance of the immediate supervisor and team leads • Follow established SE processes and procedures

Qualifications You Must Have • Bachelor’s degree in degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) obtained by start date. • Experience in applying basic engineering principles, theories, and concepts

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer • Previous engineering project and internship experience • Exposure to requirements development, derivation, and management • Exposure to integration of software and hardware subsystems • Exposure to security engineering concepts and practices and the systems/software development life cycle • Exposure to Aerospace platforms / systems

The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
