Meet the team: We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Financial Analyst to join our medical device manufacturing organization in a fully remote capacity. This role is pivotal in assisting the Team in designing, maintaining, and optimizing IT infrastructure to support manufacturing, applications, R&D, information security, regulatory compliance, and other business areas in a highly regulated industry.
Where you come in: • You develop budgets, forecasts, and cost-benefit and financial analysis for infrastructure investments, including CapEx, OpEx, ROI, and cost optimization opportunities. • You demonstrate the ability to connect infrastructure strategy to financial performance through oversight of multi-region budgets, variance management, risk identification and mitigation, through close partnership with peer teams and leadership to support organizational goals. • You evaluate vendors, technology quotes, contracts, and service-level agreements to support reliable, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.
• You coordinate and maintain IT infrastructure roadmaps across servers, networks, cloud platforms, and data storage to support business and manufacturing needs.
• You partner with manufacturing, applications, R&D, information security, regulatory, and other teams to align infrastructure planning with business priorities and medical device lifecycle requirements. • You support capacity planning by identifying infrastructure constraints, resource needs, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve scalability and reliability. • You facilitate planning sessions, strategic workshops, and operating mechanisms that help teams align on infrastructure priorities, risks, metrics, and decisions. • You identify and help mitigate IT risks, including cybersecurity, data integrity, system downtime, business continuity, and compliance-related risks. • You coordinate infrastructure upgrades, migrations, documentation, and audit-ready records to support operational efficiency and ongoing compliance.
What makes you successful: • You are comfortable connecting infrastructure plans to financial outcomes, including cost modeling, budgeting, forecasting, ROI analysis, and vendor quote evaluation You understand core infrastructure areas such as virtualization, cloud platforms including AWS or Azure, networking, storage, and system reliability planning. • You have experience with vendor management, including vendor assessments, performance reviews, contract input, and SLA management in a technical environment. • You understand risk management and compliance expectations in regulated environments, including frameworks or requirements such as NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR, or similar standards. • You are familiar with manufacturing and enterprise systems such as MES, ERP, or Oracle EBS, and can collaborate with technical and non-technical partners. • You communicate clearly, work effectively in a remote environment, and use sound judgment to manage priorities in a fast-paced, compliance-driven setting. • Scrum, Agile, PMP, ITIL, or equivalent project or service management experience is preferred. • Experience supporting infrastructure in a global, multi-site, or highly regulated environment is helpful.

Travel Required: • 5-15%
Experience and Education Requirements: • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 8-12 years related experience or Master’s degree and 5-7 years equivalent industry experience or a PhD and 2-4 years of experience.
Flex Workplace: • Your primary location will be a home office. You will not have an assigned workstation and will work with your manager to determine office visit needs. You must live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
