This position will operate as a strategic business leader within a highly matrixed global organization and partner closely with R&D, engineering, clinical, commercial, and regional stakeholders to shape future platform direction across hardware, software, connectivity, and digital ecosystem initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead development and execution of upstream marketing strategy across the Advanced Patient Monitoring (APM) capital systems portfolio.

• Drive Voice of Customer (VOC) strategy and customer discovery efforts to identify unmet clinical, operational, workflow, and economic needs across ICU, CCU, OR, Cath Lab, PICU, and Med-Surg settings.

• Translate customer, market, competitive, clinical, and business insights into product concepts, platform strategies, product requirements, and long-range portfolio recommendations.

• Partner closely with R&D, systems engineering, software engineering, clinical, regulatory, quality, and commercial teams throughout the product development lifecycle to ensure alignment between customer needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives.

• Influence new product development strategy including concept evaluation, product definition, feature prioritization, usability considerations, and platform evolution planning.

• Lead development of business cases, market models, financial analyses, pricing recommendations, portfolio strategies, and commercialization assessments supporting investment and prioritization decisions.

• Support and influence software, connectivity, interoperability, cybersecurity, and digital health ecosystem strategy initiatives aligned to future patient monitoring workflows.

• Conduct market analysis including competitive intelligence, market sizing, segmentation, customer workflow evaluation, and emerging technology assessment.

• Partner with downstream marketing, sales enablement, and regional commercial teams to support global launch readiness, market adoption strategies, customer messaging, and commercial execution planning.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospital administrators, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and strategic customer stakeholders globally.

• Represent the business externally through advisory boards, customer visits, conferences, congresses, and market development activities.

• Influence cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership within a highly matrixed global organization.

• Contribute to development and continuous improvement of upstream marketing processes, strategic planning rigor, and portfolio governance practices.

• Located onsite, not a remote position.

• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%

• Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced, and team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

• 8–12+ years of progressive experience in product management, upstream marketing, strategic marketing, or related commercial leadership roles within medical devices, healthcare technology, patient monitoring, capital equipment, or connected care environments.

• Demonstrated experience leading upstream marketing initiatives including Voice of Customer (VOC), roadmap development, product definition, business case creation, and strategic portfolio planning.

• Experience supporting complex capital systems, platform-based healthcare technologies, or integrated hardware/software ecosystems.

• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and operate effectively within highly matrixed global organizations.

• Strong commercial acumen with ability to translate customer, market, and competitive insights into business strategy and product direction.

• Excellent communication, executive presentation, stakeholder management, and organizational influence skills.
