Role Summary Northern Trust Asset Management (NTAM) is an over trillion-dollar investment management firm entrusted by investors around the globe to help them navigate changing market environments, so they can confidently realize their long-term objectives.     Sr. Engagement Lead is responsible for driving NTAM’s most strategic, complex, and highly valued initiatives from inception to execution to accelerate the firm’s right to win. This role reports into the NTAM Head of NTAM Platform Innovation under the COO organization and closely partners with NTAM’s leadership. The right candidate is a versatile, multi-faceted leader who enjoys adopting a consultative approach to planning to execution and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.  

Primary Duties and Responsibilities Be part of the Platform Innovation team stood up to enable NTAM’s most pressing strategic initiatives. Responsibilities include: • Lead execution of strategic business transformation/AI initiatives to deliver growth, scale, and/or resiliency in the business by applying strong business consulting and consultative execution skills. Examples range from new business capability building, AI initiatives, regulatory risk remediation, operating model/process evaluation.

• Drive complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues

• Partner with multiple disciplines and global NTAM leadership to understand business and functional priorities and considerations to build plan and roadmaps.

• Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders to discover and prioritize needs, solution, and/or plan.

• Engage with cross-functional leaders to define project objectives, scope, build roadmaps and plans with clear milestones and OKRs, identify dependencies, and establish governance and communication protocols.

• Communicate delivery roadmap and dependencies in terms meaningful to both business and technical terms to influence, educate and support the implementation of desired outcomes.

• Monitor progress to achieve milestones and desired outcomes ensuring execution team stays on track.

• Own program reporting, escalations, including Working Groups, Steering Committee and enterprise updates.

• Anticipate risks, issues and jointly identify action or mitigation plans to drive decisions or course correction.

• Shepherd engagements through relevant Change, Architecture and Governance forums.

• Partner with Digital Product, AI/Automation, Data and Technology, Risk, Controls.  Teams to develop and recommend technology and automated solutions, if required for the program, to achieve program objectives.

Necessary Knowledge and Skills • Strong consultative skillset of driving programs from initiation to execution building compelling fact base and bringing in diverse points of view to drive scoping, planning and decisioning

• Strong program management expertise with ability to structure complex cross-functional initiatives to enable clarity, completeness, and speed of execution.

• Dynamic relationship building and partnership skills across distinct levels of the organization.

• AI forward mindset with aptitude to identify personal productivity improvement opportunities using AI agents

• Proficiency in leveraging Co-Pilot/Claude other AI enabled tools to build agents for personal productivity

• Excellent written and presentation skills with ability to flex messaging based on audience.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and influencing skills are required

• Ability to lead, prioritize, and deliver multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Results-driven and resourceful leader with proactive and independent problem-solving skills 

• Global outlook with sensitivity and awareness of social and cultural differences

• Strong situational awareness and decision-making capabilities

Necessary Experience and Education • 15+ years of overall experience with at least 5+ years of experience in independently leading and managing teams to deliver diverse range of transformation initiatives leveraging a consultative skillset.

• Management Consulting experience with exposure to Asset Management, Wealth Management or Asset Servicing industries is highly desired.

• Experience in driving end to end program management, change and value delivery in matrixed organizations; strong preference of experience in driving AI initiatives from discovery to enablement

• Experience in interviewing and facilitating discovery/design/planning workshops is required.

• Demonstrated experience in crafting and leveraging metrics to gauge progress and measuring success.

• Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Project Planning, leveraging Co-Pilot and other enterprise enabled AI skillset; PowerBI knowledge a plus 

• Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.

Salary Range: $137,400 - 240,400 USD Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay.
