This requisition is for an RTX intern returning for an internship in 2027.

What You Will Do • Assists in conducting engineering processes and standard work, including verification and qualification procedures. • Creates, compiles, and consolidates testing on diagnostic systems containing logical and mathematical solutions.  • Assists in conducting disciplinary research on one or more stages of the equipment design phase to develop design options and recommendations. • Learns hardware and software standards and ensures work product adheres to these standards and business objectives of the organization are met. 

Qualifications You Must Have • Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session. • Experience with C/C++, C#, Java, Python, Simulink, and/or Perl

Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Qualifications We Prefer • Demonstrated experience leveraging strong communication, teaming and results oriented skills.  • Prior experience communicating across teams and platforms to successfully collaborate on projects/goals • Experience leveraging excellent written and verbal communication skills to deliver successful programs

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
