In This Role
You will create high-quality 3D artwork and visual concepts for a globally recognized gaming franchise, primarily supporting social media, paid media, marketing campaigns, product launches, and community-focused initiatives. You will translate creative briefs and strategic ideas into engaging visual work that feels playful, culturally relevant, and native to social platforms rather than overly promotional.
This is a hands-on creative role for someone who combines strong 3D and concept-art expertise with a social-first mindset. You will work across multiple levels of fidelity, from rapid sketches and early visual explorations to polished key art and presentation-ready campaign assets. You will collaborate with cross-functional creative, marketing, social, and production partners while experimenting with emerging tools and AI-enabled creative workflows.
Responsibilities
• Create high-quality 3D artwork, concept art, key visuals, sketches, mockups, and visual explorations for social media, paid media, marketing campaigns, franchise moments, and community activations.
• Translate creative briefs, business objectives, and marketing strategies into clear, compelling visual concepts.
• Develop environmental imagery, product visualizations, campaign assets, and creative mockups that establish and evolve a project’s visual direction.
• Produce presentation-ready materials that communicate creative ideas during planning, pitching, and concept-development stages.
• Create adaptable artwork for social platforms, websites, events, presentations, partner materials, and other marketing channels.
• Develop social-first creative that captures attention quickly, feels organic to the platform, and encourages engagement and sharing.
• Collaborate with creative directors, art directors, marketers, social specialists, producers, and other stakeholders to align work with strategic objectives.
• Explore multiple visual directions and incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining a consistently high standard of quality.
• Stay current on trends across gaming, entertainment, social media, design, technology, and popular culture.
• Experiment with new creative tools, formats, and AI-enabled workflows to accelerate ideation, rendering, exploration, and iteration.
• Ensure all creative work meets established standards for brand consistency, accessibility, confidentiality, and community appropriateness.
• Develop work with engagement, reposts, and other relevant performance indicators in mind.
Qualifications
• 5–7+ years of experience in 3D art, concept art, visual development, entertainment art, marketing design, gaming, or a related creative field. An exceptional portfolio may offset the years-of-experience requirement.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating 3D artwork, concept development, visual storytelling, sketches, mockups, key visuals, or campaign creative.
• Demonstrated social-first creative experience, including an understanding of what makes content engaging, shareable, and native to social platforms.
• Proven ability to take an idea from initial concept through polished execution.
• Strong knowledge of composition, lighting, color, form, storytelling, and visual communication.
• Proficiency with industry-standard tools for 3D modeling, rendering, visual development, and image creation.
• Experience developing visual prototypes, campaign mockups, and concept materials that help stakeholders understand and align around creative ideas.
• Ability to work across multiple levels of fidelity, from rapid explorations to finished artwork.
• Experience creating artwork that supports both marketing objectives and audience engagement across multiple channels.
• Ability to work effectively in rapid creative cycles, incorporate feedback, explore multiple directions, and maintain quality under tight deadlines.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, including experience working with cross-functional creative and business stakeholders.
• Sound judgment when creating content for a global audience and highly engaged fan community.
• Portfolio required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience creating social and marketing content for gaming, entertainment, or other culturally relevant consumer brands.
