About this role

Responsibilities:

• Provide information to lead operators for orders to be filled and   shipped   also provide status of incoming shipments to production / maintenance /   purchasing   personnel.  

• Provide all   accurate   documents for shipping and receiving procedures.   

• Coordinate all incoming shipments, verify accuracy, receive   it   in the computer system   accordingly   and communicate receipt to appropriate personnel .      

• Responsible for entering   accurate   data in   ERP   system used for daily/weekly/monthly reports and reconciliation.  

• Obtain freight quotes from carriers (domestic) and brokers/steamship companies for export.

Qualifications:

• High school degree is   required .  

• Associate’s   degree   in a related field preferred.   

• Warehouse or   logistics   experience   required .   

• Good communication   and leadership skills   required .   

• Prior experience in   an   administrative role within a shipping/receiving/ logistics   department   is   strongly   preferred.
