Our New Nuclear team scales this expertise through strategic project management of new nuclear projects, from concept through execution, across Canada, the U.S., and globally.

🧠 THE ROLE

We're building the team that will deliver the next generation of nuclear power in North America, and we're always looking for exceptional Senior Program Managers to help lead the way.

As a Senior Program Manager at NPX, you'll build the strategy behind how new nuclear programs are structured and lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of those programs from early development through execution. You'll partner with clients, lead your team to deliver on commitments, and contribute to growth across NPX's New Build portfolio. Your ability to bring structure to complex, first-of-a-kind programs will directly influence how new nuclear projects are delivered and help shape the future of nuclear development in Canada.

Travel Requirements: Requires on-site presence in Bruce County approximately three days per week to support effective collaboration and decision-making.

Salary Range: $160-200k (Exact compensation may vary)

🎯 WHAT YOU'LL DRIVE

- Program Strategy: Define and lead the program’s scope, objectives, roadmap, success metrics, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with business and client goals.

- Program Delivery: Drive execution across teams, managing interdependencies, resources, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables to achieve program outcomes.

- Stakeholder Alignment: Keep senior leaders, sponsors, and stakeholders aligned on progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes.

- Governance & Compliance: Establish program governance and ensure adherence to organizational, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

- Team Leadership: Mentor project managers and team members, strengthening collaboration, accountability, and leadership capabilities.

- Financial & Partner Management: Manage the program budget, profitability, vendors, and partners to ensure successful delivery.

- Strategic Thinking: You can define a program's scope, roadmap, and success metrics from the ground up and connect them to long-term business and client goals.

- Deep Technical Expertise: Bring strong expertise in your discipline and understand how it integrates within complex infrastructure programs.

- Program Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary teams across multiple projects and workstreams, integrating scope, dependencies, and priorities through the full program lifecycle.

- Results & Accountability: Own program performance across scope, schedule, budget, and outcomes, holding teams accountable for measurable results.

- Adaptability in Complex Environments: Navigate ambiguity, evolving regulatory requirements, and first-of-a-kind challenges while maintaining program momentum.

- Cultural Leadership: Model accountability, collaboration, mentorship, and innovation while building high-performing teams and delivering technical excellence.

- Domain Familiarity: Experience in nuclear, energy, or major capital projects is an asset. Familiarity with CSA N286, project controls frameworks, or equivalent regulated environments is preferred. Experience with new build, Gen III+/Gen IV reactors, SMRs, or management system development is an asset. In addition, experience in additional subject matter areas is an asset including: - Reactor Technology Providers – reactor planning and deployment - Construction Execution – construction planning, logistics, advanced work packages, field execution - Supply Chain – procurement strategy and vendor delivery for first-of-a-kind builds - Civil / Earthworks – site development, grading, and foundation works - Electrical – power distribution, protection, and control system delivery - Governance – program governance frameworks and controls for new nuclear builds
