About the role  We’re looking for a dynamic, experienced leader with a proven track record of building brands through culture and translating cultural relevance into meaningful business impact. Working across an iconic portfolio of spirits brands, this role will champion a culture-first approach and identify the moments, communities and conversations where our brands can show up with authenticity, relevance and impact.

We’re looking for a leader who can bring together strategic thinking, creative ambition and strong cross-functional leadership to continue driving these brands forward in culture while delivering against our broader brand and business goals.

Leadership Accountabilities:      • Responsible for developing and implementing integrated culture-forward communications and activation plans that embed our brands in key moments and deliver against key business objectives • Oversee Ketel One, Casamigos with potential to take on additional brands as business priorities shift • Be part of leading Influencer, Earned and Integrated Communications strategies that are aligned with brand strategy, drive reach and build relevance and drive business results • Demonstrate strategic thinking, translation of strategies into differentiated plans for the brand • Manage agency partners to ensure they are familiar with and follow Diageo guidelines for building brands and for responsible marketing • Work with Procurement to ensure all partnership contracts are compliant, efficient and well structured • Work with and integrated marketing mix (CR, Customer Planning, Commercial/Sales, Local Teams/National/Strategic Accounts, Innovation, Legal, CR, etc.) to develop through-the-line campaigns that spark in culture • Maintain a strong internal control and compliance environment consistent with the Diageo Marketing Code, Digital and Social Media Guidelines, and Diageo compliance policies

Complexity of the Role:                • Requires experience in the earned advocacy discipline, including integrated communications strategies, influencer management, brand planning, contextual brand integration, project management and M&E • A proven ability to execute programs consecutively with consistent success • Strong influencing and negotiation capabilities involved working with senior brand stakeholders both internally and externally • Ability to motivate and inspire agencies and brand partners • Must be self-starter who can easily shift between strategy and execution • Multi-tasker that can manage multiple workstreams at once

Key Outputs & Deliverables:       • Bring forth ideas and programs for brands that drive brand fame, earned value and in culture • Develop and execute integrated campaigns and programs that drive shareholder value and generate growth against core brand and business objective • Effectively manage agencies and additional 3rd parties for best in class program ideation, implementation and delivery of results within budget and scope of work • Manage process from concept to implementation, engaging important cross-functional stakeholders along the way • Works and contributed into the larger Tequila & Vodka team portfolio goals – driving consistency and efficiencies amongst M&E, agency partners, award submissions, etc.

Professional Experience & Qualifications:          • 8+ plus years of relevant experience with a record of leading and implementing integrated in culture  programs with experience in highly regulated industries • Vast understanding of Public Relations, Experiential Marketing and Influencer Marketing and how it works withing the larger Marketing mix • Authentic communicator with experience working successfully with multiple brand stakeholders

Education:          • Undergraduate degree  - degree in marketing, business management, communications desirable

Salary Range: $125,925.00 - $209,875.00
