About this role
Job Description Summary:
As an Enterprise Architect you will be a strategic leader tasked with shaping the technical and architectural landscape of The Coca Cola Company. You will serve as the bridge between business strategy and technology execution, ensuring our global digital ecosystem—ranging from core SAP ERP systems, Salesforce and Marketing platforms to the AI platforms and next generation emerging technology platforms are designed for massive-scale infrastructure—is agile, scalable, and future-proof.
Whether driving the modernization of our digital ecosystem or building new products in the marketing, innovation or enterprise domains this leader will play a role in influencing the roadmap through a centralized Transformation Office, you will define the "blueprints" that enable our global functions and operating units to operate at the speed of market demand.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Architectural Vision: Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap. Align technical investments with the company’s long-term business goals, focusing on total cost of ownership (TCO), scalability, and security.
• Platform Governance & Standardization: Oversee the architectural integrity of our global core applications across core tech, digital, cloud and AI infrastructure and establish standards for integration, data flow, and platform interoperability.
• Transformation Leadership:
• Lead the rationalization of global application portfolios, drive cloud-first initiatives, and ensure robust support for complex enterprise-wide functions to simplify the workflows across the organization with AI and agentic in mind
• Act as a key stakeholder in the Global PMO. Influence project prioritization, shape multi-year technology roadmaps, and ensure that all strategic initiatives align with the broader enterprise vision.
• Portfolio Shaping: Partner with senior business leadership and IT project managers to evaluate new technology , assess technical debt, and ensure that the project portfolio delivers maximum business value without compromising system stability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the "Architectural Consultant" to the senior leadership and functional leaders. Translate complex technical requirements into business outcomes, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Change Agent: Navigate the complexities of a large, matrixed organization. Drive the adoption of modern architectural practices (e.g., API-first design, microservices, cloud-native architecture, agentic) across global business units.
Success Metrics
• Roadmap Alignment: Successfully influencing the annual IT project portfolio to ensure 80%+ of investments align with the defined target architecture.
• Technical Debt Reduction: Measuring the rationalization and decommissioning of legacy systems over a 24-month period.
• Agility & Time-to-Market: Demonstrating improvements in the delivery speed of enterprise-wide initiatives through standardized integration patterns and cloud adoption.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
• 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, IT strategy, or large ‑ scale technology leadership, with significant experience at enterprise or global scale
• Proven leadership experience at senior or executive level, leading large, cross ‑ functional teams and influencing C ‑ suite and business leaders
• Deep expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and practices (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) and governance models
• Strong experience defining and executing enterprise ‑ wide technology roadmaps aligned to business strategy and measurable outcomes
• Extensive knowledge of modern architectures including cloud (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS), data and analytics platforms, integration, security, and scalable application ecosystems
• Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation, modernization of legacy platforms, and adoption of emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML, automation)
• Proven success in portfolio investment decisions, technology standardization, and cost ‑ benefit analysis at enterprise scale
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority across executive, technical, and business audiences
• Strong vendor and partner management experience, including sourcing strategy, contract negotiation, and performance governance
• Experience operating in Agile and product ‑ based delivery models within complex, regulated, or multi ‑ market environments
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., TOGAF, cloud architecture certifications) strongly preferred
Reporting Relationships
Reports to VP Core Technology

Skills:
Pay Range: United States of America: 217,400 USD - 245,300 USD Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
Annual Incentive Reference Value Percentage: 50 Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role. It falls in the middle of the range for your role, indicating performance at target.
Long-term Incentive Reference Value Percentage: 20 Long-term Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role.
