General Warehouse Worker  

Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a warehouse.  

How You Will Make a Difference   

What you will do:   Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, such as receiving, stocking,   loading,   and unloading merchandise   and materials ,   picking,   and   operating   heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks .   

How you   w ill do it:   Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders. Enter data into a database or other computerized system to   maintain   up-to-date stock records; retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries .   

What success looks like:   Responsible for working independently   to   successfully   and   accurate ly reach individual   production goals .

Skills for Success  

Years of Related Professional Experience :   One year of experience preferred .   

Educational   Position Requirements:   A formal education and   subsequent   undergraduate/graduate degrees are nice to have, but we are mo st   interested in your total experience and professional achievements.   

• What we expect you already know:   Basic level of education will be   required ; reading, writing, and basic numeracy, problem solving,   and accountability.   

• What we will teach you:   Guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a store or warehouse
