Job Description: Altera is empowering the next generation of intelligent, connected, and autonomous systems through industry-leading FPGA, software, and semiconductor solutions. We are seeking a Project/Program Manager to lead the planning and delivery of web and digital initiatives in close partnership with Marketing, IT, and cross-functional teams.  

About the Role  

The Project/Program Manager, Web and Digital- Contract will serve as the primary program management partner between Marketing and IT. This role will coordinate the delivery of website enhancements, digital platforms, system integrations, analytics implementations, AI-powered experiences, and other marketing technology initiatives.  

You will translate business needs into clear project requirements, coordinate technical and nontechnical teams, manage timelines and dependencies, and ensure projects move successfully from planning through development, testing, launch, and post-launch support.  

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with IT and development teams, and skilled at bringing clarity, accountability, and structure to complex digital projects.  

Key Responsibilities  

Web and Digital Program Management  

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of web, digital, and marketing technology projects.  

• Lead project planning from discovery and requirements gathering through design, development, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.  

• Develop and   maintain   project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resource plans, risk logs, decision logs, and status reports.  

• Coordinate multiple projects and workstreams while managing priorities, dependencies, risks, and competing deadlines.  

• Define project scope,   objectives , deliverables, success measures, acceptance criteria, and launch-readiness requirements.  

• Track progress and ensure project commitments are completed on time, within scope, and according to quality expectations.  

Partnership with IT  

• Serve as the primary liaison between Marketing and IT for web and digital initiatives.  

• Partner with IT teams to evaluate project requirements, technical feasibility, architecture, resources, security needs, and delivery timelines.  

• Translate marketing and business needs into clear technical requirements, user stories, development tickets, and acceptance criteria.  

• Coordinate with web developers, solution architects, infrastructure teams, data teams, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and technical support teams.  

• Manage dependencies involving systems, APIs, integrations, environments, access, data, hosting, and deployment processes.  

• Ensure Marketing and IT stakeholders   remain   aligned on priorities, responsibilities, timelines, decisions, and expected outcomes.  

• Escalate technical risks, resource constraints, and unresolved decisions before they affect delivery.  

Website and Digital Projects  

• Manage website redesigns, page and template development, content migrations, platform upgrades, and digital experience enhancements.  

• Coordinate projects involving content management systems, site search, AI chatbots, analytics, personalization, marketing automation, and other digital platforms.  

• Support the implementation of new website capabilities, integrations, tools, and technical infrastructure.  

• Coordinate content, design, development, SEO, accessibility, analytics, legal, privacy, and security requirements.  

• Manage quality assurance, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, cutover planning, production deployment, and post-launch validation.  

• Ensure website releases meet business, technical, brand, accessibility, performance, and user experience requirements.  

Cross-Functional Coordination  

• Partner with Web Marketing, Product Marketing, Content, Creative, Demand Generation, Analytics, Communications, Legal, Procurement, and regional teams.  

• Facilitate project kickoffs, requirements sessions, technical reviews, design reviews, sprint planning, status meetings, testing sessions, and launch-readiness reviews.  

• Assign and track action items, decisions, approvals, dependencies, and deliverables.  

• Communicate project status, accomplishments, risks, issues, and recommendations to project teams and leadership.  

• Help stakeholders understand technical constraints, tradeoffs, sequencing, and resource requirements.  

• Drive   timely   decisions and   maintain   alignment across business and technical teams.  

Vendor and Process Management  

• Coordinate deliverables across internal teams, external agencies, technology vendors, consultants, and implementation partners.  

• Manage vendor schedules, dependencies, deliverables, reviews, approvals, and contractual commitments.  

• Support statements of work, budget tracking, procurement processes, and vendor performance reviews.  

• Establish repeatable project management processes, templates, governance, documentation, and reporting standards.  

• Identify   opportunities to improve collaboration, delivery efficiency, visibility, and accountability between Marketing and IT.  

• Maintain project documentation and ensure knowledge transfer is completed before project closeout.  

The pay range below is for Bay Area California only. Actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, trainings, etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance.  

$118.9K - $172.2K USD

Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications  

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business , Marketing, Information Systems, Communications, Operations, Computer Science, or   a related   field.
