In this role, you will be a member of our highly reputable cost management and estimating team. The cost team delivers solutions to clients in the areas of conceptual estimating, budget development, cost planning, feasibility studies, value management, economic forecasting, milestone reports, pre- and post-contract auditing, change order review and reconciliation, BIM 5D cost modeling, LEED cost analysis, life cycle costing, and more. We are currently hiring a Project Controls Manager/Analyst to support our team in the Worcester, MA area. This upcoming role will be focused on supporting our life sciences client on a variety of projects, ensuring that the project remains on a path to achieve desired schedule and budget outcomes. This is onsite at the client location in Worcester. Come join us!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Perform Project Controls Services service offering including but not limited to handling invoicing, purchase orders, capital planning, front end planning, project funding, project set up, construction technology, procure to pay, project, cost & commercial managing, • Participate in the delivery of Portfolios, Programs & projects • Facilitate funding process by consolidating information from various sources into a holistic funding request document. • Work closely with clients to effectively set up project systems and coding and communicate the requirements to those providing inputs • Enable effective governance by providing relevant fact-based information including provision of reports • Assist in the smooth operation of the construction technology with a particular focus on ensuring the flow of information to enable efficient execution and control • Participate in the development of project sourcing strategies and ensure the effective set up of the procure to pay structure • Forecast and Predictively influence the outcomes of project • Identify, quantify monitor and partner to develop risk mitigation plans • Ensure the effective closure of projects including the completion of all financial related activities 

Knowledge & Skills Required: • Growing technical competency in many of the project controls service offerings such as Project set up, construction technology, procure to pay, project, cost & commercial managing, managing purchase orders, and invoicing • Understand how your role contributes to the organization's goals.  • Deliver quality work product by role modeling organizational core values.  • Hold self accountable to individual and team goals.  • Consistently communicate, collaborate and build relationships with team members and clients.  • Proactively participate in self-development to continually enhance current skills and build new skills required to excel at current role and prepare for career progression.  • Demonstrate technical knowledge of the construction industry and the ability to use cost-estimating methods.  • Flexibility to adapt to all situations and work varied hours • Demonstrate a high degree of creativity and latitude.  • Perform work tasks by receiving direction and then working independently with an interest in quickly learning and applying new skills and abilities.  • Apply knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the construction field.  • Ability to quickly analyze, compare, and interpret detailed but sometimes poorly defined information.  • Possess a working knowledge of Cumming's tools, systems, and procedures.  • Demonstrate understanding of Project Controls fundamentals.  • Ability to read and interpret various documents such as Arch, Civil, Structural, MEP, Geotech, Site Logistics, and Schedules.  • Ability to communicate with various stakeholders, internal and external to company.  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently.  • Ability to perform at high levels in a fast paced, ever-changing work environment.  • Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.  • Highly proficient in the use of Excel • Utilize effective written and oral communication skills. 

Preferred Education and Experience: Education: BS in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field Experience: 4+ years experience post receiving undergraduate degree working in related field
