About this role

The Company Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream: To forever change how diabetes is managed. To unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Here we are 25 years later, having pioneered an industry. And we're just getting started. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. To continue what we've started: Improving human health.   We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who are willing to fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers by listening, serving with integrity, thinking big, and being dependable. We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.

Meet the team: The Patient Apps team owns Dexcom’s patient-facing mobile experiences and partners across design, engineering, clinical, regulatory, medical affairs, and commercial teams to deliver differentiated experiences that improve outcomes for patients and providers.

As Product Manager focused on Onboarding & First Value, you will own the product outcome, discovery evidence, and opportunity prioritization for the Onboarding & First Value domain.

Working within a cross-functional team, you will identify the customer opportunities most likely to help new users successfully download the right app, start, understand, and realize value from their CGM experience. Success means translating evidence into recommendations that reduce early friction, increase confidence, and help users reach meaningful value quickly and independently.

Where you come in: • Own the product outcome, discovery evidence, and opportunity prioritization for the Onboarding & First Value domain. • Lead outcome-based discovery: Identify the customer opportunities most likely to improve setup completion, first-session success, user confidence, and early engagement. • Define first meaningful value: Partner across Product, Design, Engineering, Medical Affairs, and Research to identify what makes a new user's first CGM experience personally relevant and worth continuing. • Build evidence for decisions: Use customer research, analytics, experimentation, and behavioral insights to guide prioritization and recommendations. • Shape onboarding and education experiences: Define how Dexcom introduces CGM concepts, expectations, goals, and context without creating unnecessary burden or complexity. • Increase motivation and confidence: Help users understand what CGM is showing, why it matters to their goals, and what actions they can take next. • Capture meaningful starting context: Define what information should be gathered early to support more relevant experiences, guidance, and insights over time. • Jointly own product risks within the Quad: Partner across Product, Design, Engineering, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Quality, and Human Factors to evaluate value, usability, feasibility, viability, and safety. • Translate ambiguity into focused recommendations: Convert broad questions around activation, motivation, education, confidence, personalization, and early engagement into clear problem statements, tested assumptions, and prioritized next steps. • Define success measures and learning agenda: Establish the metrics, qualitative signals, and evidence needs that indicate whether users are reaching value faster, continuing with confidence, and engaging beyond initial setup.

What makes you successful: • Product management experience: Product Manager: 5+ years in product management or a closely related role, ideally in healthcare, digital health, consumer software, mobile applications, or regulated technology. • Outcome-based discovery: Demonstrated ability to work backward from customer and business outcomes, identify opportunities, and use discovery to validate what drives adoption, engagement, retention, and time-to-value. • Activation and onboarding expertise: Experience improving customer activation, onboarding, adoption, engagement, retention, or first-value experiences through product strategy, experimentation, and iterative learning. • Customer empathy: Ability to understand customer motivations, goals, behaviors, barriers, and confidence gaps, then translate those insights into intuitive product experiences. • Education and comprehension: Experience simplifying complex information into clear, confidence-building experiences that help users understand what they are seeing, why it matters, and what to expect next. • Behavior change and engagement thinking: Experience designing products that help users build confidence, develop habits, sustain engagement, or progress toward meaningful health or behavioral outcomes over time. • Strategic product thinking: Ability to connect customer needs, product opportunities, business outcomes, and evidence into a clear product strategy. • Cross-functional leadership: Proven ability to partner with engineering, design, medical affairs, clinical, regulatory, legal, commercial, data science, research, quality, and human factors teams to deliver high-impact experiences. • Regulated environment fluency: Comfort operating within regulated environments where safety, compliance, privacy, and quality must be balanced with customer experience and speed of learning. • Data-informed product development: Experience using customer research, analytics, experimentation, behavioral data, and qualitative signals to guide prioritiz
