Program Overview: The Enterprise Operations Development Program provides a unique opportunity for the participant to gain a strong foundation and practical experience in bank operations and financial risk management, all while contributing to a team that is invested in your professional development and success.

As a participant, the program provides you with a combination of hands-on experience, targeted training, and structured rotations. Over the course of the program, you’ll develop your leadership competencies and build your knowledge in enterprise operations management principles which will prepare you for a vital role within our organization.

FNB’s Development Programs aim to equip Associates with the skills and experience necessary for a successful transition into integral positions within one of our teams.

Your Role:

Foundational Rotations in Operations and Risk

You’ll begin your journey by rotating through various operations teams, gaining hands-on experience with core processes, technologies, compliance requirements, and customer interactions. These assignments will help you build a strong understanding of how each team contributes to the organization’s success and strategic goals.

Simultaneously, you’ll rotate through risk-focused teams within Enterprise Operations, where you’ll dive into the fundamentals of risk management. You’ll conduct operational risk assessments, map processes, test controls, identify gaps, and use data analytics to support risk reporting and remediation efforts. This dual exposure will give you a comprehensive view of how risk and operations intersect to drive resilience and performance.

Leadership Development and Strategic Impact

Once you’ve built a solid foundation, you’ll take on a leadership assignment within an Enterprise Operations team. This experience is designed to stretch your leadership capabilities and prepare you for future roles with greater responsibility. You’ll lead initiatives, collaborate across departments, and contribute to strategic priorities that shape the future of our organization .

Project Ownership and Executive Engagement

Throughout the program, you’ll be entrusted with a high-impact project. This will challenge you to identify opportunities for process improvement, develop actionable recommendations, and present your findings to senior leadership. Your work will directly influence how we operate and manage risk.

Training, Networking, and Continuous Growth

You’ll participate in leadership and skills-based training sessions tailored to your development. You’ll also have opportunities to connect with other program participants, building a strong network of peers and mentors. This environment fosters continuous learning and supports your growth into a well-rounded professional.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
