About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. What You'll Be Doing • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mobile equipment to maximize operational uptime. • Perform preventive maintenance on loaders, haul trucks, excavators, and other heavy equipment. • Inspect equipment and identify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and safety concerns. • Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair needs effectively. • Support safe, reliable plant operations through quality workmanship and teamwork.
What Are We Looking For • Demonstrated capability to diagnose and repair heavy mobile equipment systems. • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and diesel-powered equipment. • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established procedures. • Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and work effectively with minimal supervision. • Effective communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Conditions of Employment • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
