About this role
Ecolab, the global leader in premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I . This role will perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance, monthly safety checks, make repairs and modifications to equipment and repair the facility as needed.

How You’ll Make an Impact: • Interface with production/warehouse supervision to effect safe repairs to equipment and ensure that equipment is returned to operations in an acceptable condition
• Perform regularly scheduled preventive maintenance and monthly safety checks
• Make repairs & modifications to equipment and facilities as scheduled through the work order system
• Responsible for completing all paperwork assigned and coordinating with the reliability supervisor to ensure data is correct and recorded
• Other duties as assigned
Position Details: • Plant location: Martinsburg, WV
• Work week and shift: 3rd shift, Thursday-Sunday, 10pm-6am
• Compensation : $30.77 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications: • High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment, including industrial or military
• 1 year of experience with electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial environment, including industrial or military
• 1 year of experience with tools, procedures and methods utilized in an industrial maintenance environment, including industrial or military
• 1 year of experience with electronic and PLC based applications in an industrial environment, including industrial or military
• Ability to read and understand manuals and schematics in English.
• Attention to detail in work execution and administrative maintenance related paperwork.

Preferred Qualifications: • Formal vocational training in plant maintenance activities with emphasis on industrial applications or equivalent job experience in electricity, power distribution, industrial electrical wiring, mechanics, machine operations, general plumbing, heating ventilation and air conditioning, and/or boiler operations
• Experience with electronic and PLC based applications in an industrial environment, including industrial or military
• Experience with pumps, welding, bearings, electrical safety, forklifts, gears, hydraulics, valves, and rigging
• Experience in a Lean and/or total productive maintenance (TPM) Environment
• Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT) or other industrial related certifications or licenses.
Physical Requirements of Position: • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds chest high
• Kneeling, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and reaching above and below waist level
• Working in a chemical processing plant with variable temperatures, odors, noise levels, elevated heights, and/or confined spaces

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:
$30.77 Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
