Medical Assistant - Women's Health OB/GYN & Imaging Center - Days

The Medical Assistant will assist in all aspects of patient flow throughout the department. This includes, but is not limited to greeting patients, pulling/filing charts, typing forms, preparing documentation for transmission, answering telephones and assisting the physician, physician’s assistant, registered nurse and technical staff in various aspects of patient care.

This is a full-time day shift position located at the NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. The schedule is as follows: • Monday 11:00AM - 7:00PM • Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 10:00AM - 6:00PM • Friday 9:00AM - 5:00PM

Preferred Criteria  • Previous Medical Assistant experience

                                                                             Required Criteria  • High School Diploma or GED

• Successful completion of an approved Medical Assistant program

• Candidate must possess excellent judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure and deal effectively with all levels of staff.

• Superior customer service skills and a strong commitment to providing an outstanding patient experience.
