Job Description​

Saint Luke’s Health System Women's Clinics are looking for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to be an integral part of our provider team that delivers high quality patient-centered medical care to our community.  This position is responsible for assisting providers in the evaluation, management and delivery of professional medical care in a busy multi-specialty or primary care physician practice.  This position is full time Monday-Friday (some Saturdays), with no holidays. Position is 8:30am-5pm located in Overland Park, KS   Specific duties include: ·          Provide an excellent patient experience by managing the flow of patients, providing excellent customer service, establishing rapport with patients and maintaining a professional demeanor. ·          Conduct Pre-visit plans, room patients and obtain vitals ·          Phlebotomy as needed ·          Administer injections and coordinate vaccines ·          Assist providers with procedures ·          Utilize the EMR system and scan/download documents ·          Complete various administrative tasks as needed such as prior authorizations, RX refills, etc. ·          Conduct telephone screening (with protocols) ·          Cover front office responsibilities as needed ·          Travel between Saint Luke’s Multispecialty clinic locations may be required
