Job Description The Consumer Paid Marketing team is responsible for the development and execution of customer-centric, multi-channel marketing programs and strategies that support business line goals across U.S. Bank's consumer businesses, including Checking, Savings, Lending, Alliance Partnerships, and Digital Banking. The team delivers measurable marketing initiatives across paid media, direct mail, affiliate marketing, and emerging channels to drive customer acquisition, growth, retention, and engagement. Leveraging data, analytics, testing, and optimization, the team evaluates program performance to maximize marketing effectiveness and investment. In partnership with agencies and cross-functional stakeholders, the team develops and executes marketing campaigns and materials that are aligned with brand standards, regulatory requirements, and business objectives while continuously identifying opportunities to improve results and drive growth.

We're looking for a Marketing Specialist to support the execution and optimization of customer acquisition campaigns across a variety of marketing channels. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, analytical, and eager to learn, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience in campaign strategy, testing, performance marketing, integrated marketing, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities: • Support the planning, launch, and management of marketing campaigns across paid marketing channels.

• Demonstrate initiative and creativity by proactively identifying opportunities to improve campaign performance and customer engagement.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams and agency partners to ensure campaigns are integrated, on-brand, and aligned with marketing and business objectives.

• Assist with campaign reporting, analyze performance metrics, and develop insights and recommendations to inform future strategies.

• Support testing initiatives across audiences, creative, messaging, offers, and customer experiences to improve marketing effectiveness.

• Stay current on marketing trends, tools, and best practices, bringing fresh ideas and new perspectives to the team.

• Contribute to budget tracking and help coordinate campaign assets, timelines, invoices, and deliverables.

• Support the development of presentations, business updates, and performance recaps for partners and leadership.  

Preferred Skills / Experience: • Experience in digital marketing, paid media, advertising, customer acquisition, or a related field.

• Familiarity with advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, or similar marketing technologies.

• Experience using analytics and reporting tools to evaluate campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills; comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

• Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Adaptable, curious with a growth mindset; eager to learn and willing to take on new challenges.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.  

Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

• Four to six years of experience in marketing industry

Location Expectations: This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at the listed U.S. Bank location(s), while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.
