Peanuts recently celebrated its 75th Anniversary with unprecedented worldwide exhibitions and activities, collaborations, digital marketing campaigns, and more.   POSITION SUMMARY  

The Legal Coordinator will provide day-to-day administrative, contract, and operational support   for   the   Legal and Business   Affairs function. This role will help manage a high volume of licensing agreements and related legal documents,   maintain   accurate   contract files and status reports, coordinate execution and distribution of agreements, and support internal stakeholders with routine document requests and process follow-up. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Support attorneys, contract   specialists , and licensing stakeholders with the preparation, administration, tracking, execution, and distribution of licensing agreements, amendments, termination notices, NDAs, and related legal documents.  

• Draft and revise standard form agreements and other routine legal documents from approved templates, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with internal requirements.  

• Maintain organized contract files, reports, trackers, and databases, including   updating agreement status , licensee information, deadlines, and related documentation.  

• Coordinate with internal teams, including Licensing, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and other business partners, to support contract needs, resolve routine issues, and ensure   timely   follow-up.  

• Interface with licensees, agents, territory   leads , and other   internal   teams   to coordinate document execution, collect required information, and respond to routine process-related inquiries.  

• Assist   with document requests, internal approvals, filing, scanning, mailing, and other administrative processes needed to support the licensing workflow.  

• Assist   with intellectual property and brand protection support activities, such as   maintaining   records,   and   organizing enforcement materials   as needed.  

• Contribute to process improvements, including   maintaining   accurate   shared resources, streamlining contract administration workflows, and supporting adoption of cloud-based tools and systems.  

• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.  

• Perform   additional   responsibilities and special projects as assigned.  

• Honesty, trustworthiness and ethical conduct are material requirements for the responsibilities outlined above

QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION  

Your qualifications and experience should include:    

• Associate degree   required ;   Bachelor’s   degree, Paralegal Certificate, or other relevant legal certification preferred.  

• Experience in a legal, contract administration, licensing, intellectual property, or administrative support   role   an asset .  

• Experience preparing, managing, or tracking standard   form   legal contracts is a strong plus.  

• Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple confidential matters and competing deadlines.  

• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, judgment, and follow-through.  

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide responsive service to internal clients and external partners.  

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, timelines, and processes.  

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize workload independently while knowing when to escalate questions or issues.  

• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to support cross-functional partners.  

• High level   of computer literacy, including   proficiency   with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, and cloud-based document management or workflow tools.  

• Interest in licensing, intellectual property, entertainment, consumer products, or   brand management preferred.  

• Must   be authorized to   work in the United States.  

• Highly organized and detail-oriented  

• Reliable follow-through and ownership of tasks  

• Sound judgment and discretion with confidential information  

• Strong client-service mindset  

• Adaptability in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment  

• Clear communication and collaborative working style
