Job Description:
Summary:
The Office of Graduate Enrollment Management at SIS is looking to hire 2-3 graduate work study eligible students for Fall 2026 to assist with the daily operation of the office. This is a great opportunity that allows for interfacing with prospective students who are exploring graduate school options. This student will need to help with the Student Ambassador duties as well. Please note that this is an in-person position. The position is available for Fall 2026 with the possibility of renewal for Spring 2027 and beyond.
Essential Functions:
1.) Primary duties • Assisting prospective students with email and phone inquiries regarding SIS programs and the application process.
• Conducting outbound outreach calls to prospective and admitted graduate students.
• Providing general front desk support.
• Other duties as assigned.
2.) Student Ambassador duties • Attending admissions events and being a part of current student Q&A panels.
• Providing campus tours to visitors.
• Participating in virtual Q&A Information Sessions for current students.
• Other duties as assigned.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: • Part-time.
• 10 hours per week.
Salary Range: • $20.00 per hour.
Required Education and Experience : • SIS Current Graduate Student (FWS Eligible).
Preferred Education and Experience : • Previous experience working in an office setting but not required.
