We oversee $100M+ per year in paid media spend and create thousands of human ads each month, with each ad making our system smarter.
THE ROLE
We’re hiring a Founding New Business Lead to help build the next phase of growth at NewForm.
To date, our sales motion has been almost entirely founder-led. We have built a strong network, a growing pipeline across enterprise teams and mid-market disruptors, and differentiated offerings across Framework, our software platform, and our managed creative service.
Now we need someone who can get into the weeds with us and help turn that foundation into a repeatable new-business engine.
This is not a traditional Account Executive role where qualified meetings simply appear on your calendar. You will be responsible for creating opportunities as well as closing them. That includes developing outbound angles, directing prospect research, activating our network, running events, hosting executive dinners, taking sales calls, and moving complex opportunities from first interaction through signature.
You’ll work directly with our CRO and founders, alongside a small outbound team and NewForm’s Forward Deployed creatives and engineers. Together, you’ll determine the right solution for each prospective client, whether that is software, services, or both.
Because NewForm is outcomes-based, the sale is consultative by nature. You are not giving the same demo to every prospect. You are understanding the business, identifying where NewForm can materially help, scoping the engagement, and structuring the deal around the outcome.
You’ll sit across the table from senior marketing and growth leaders at some of the world’s most ambitious consumer and technology companies. You’ll also help define the positioning, process and operating rhythms the future GTM organization is built on.
For the right person, this role offers significant upside, broad exposure across the business and a path toward leading NewForm’s new-business organization as the team expands.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own the full path from target account to signed client
- Personally create pipeline through outbound, referrals, partnerships, events, reactivation and NewForm’s broader network
- Run discovery/sales calls as needed
- Sell across SaaS and our managed creative offering
- Work with Forward Deployed creatives and engineers to scope the right solution for each client
- Turn NewForm’s executive dinners, events, sponsorships and industry presence into measurable sources of pipeline
- Build target-account strategies and outbound campaigns with support from our SDR and intern resources
- Help direct prospect research, list building, messaging and follow-through across the junior GTM team
- Develop new outbound angles based on market changes, client results, creative trends and what NewForm is seeing across paid media
- Maintain strong pipeline hygiene, process rigor and deal follow-through
- Build the founding GTM playbook, including qualification, sales process, pipeline management, event follow-up and core operating rhythms
- Develop a strong point of view on our buyers, our market and where our software and services resonate most
WHO YOU ARE
- Based in New York City and excited to work closely with a fast-moving, in-person team
- Have four or more years of experience in sales, business development or an early-stage GTM role
- Have a track record of creating your own pipeline, not only converting meetings created by others
- Comfortable moving between outbound prospecting, executive conversations, relationship development and closing
- Able to hold your own with CMOs, VPs of Growth and other senior leaders at sophisticated consumer and technology companies
- Commercially sharp and comfortable discussing business outcomes, pricing, scope and deal structure
- A clear and concise communicator, particularly in writing and follow-up
- Comfortable operating without a large sales-enablement, RevOps or marketing organization behind you
- Willing to write the email, fix the deck, update the CRM, host the dinner and ask for the signature
- Energized by being in the market and building relationships, rather than managing the process from a distance
- Motivated by upside, pace and the opportunity to earn substantial responsibility quickly
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience selling to marketing, growth, media or creative leaders
- Experience in martech, adtech, SaaS, performance marketing, media, agencies or an adjacent environment
- Experience designing or operating executive dinners, partnerships or industry events
- Experience joining a company before its sales organization and process were fully built
- Familiarity with paid social, creative strategy, media buying or mobile growth
- An existing network across consumer technology, marketing, venture capital, private equity or the broader advertising ecosystem
