Brown & Brown   is seeking   a   Commercial Lines Account Executive   to join our growing team in   Plano, TX !      

The Commercial Lines Account Executive   is responsible for   the retention and growth of an assigned book of business .    The Account Executive builds relationships with clients and prospects to achieve client satisfaction.  

How You Will Contribute:      

• Cultivate relationships with clients, prospects, carrier partners, and teammates to drive retention and new business .  

• Lead renewal process for assigned   book of business .  

• Oversee the completion of administrative tasks including issuance of certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, and processing policies/endorsements .  

• Identify   gaps in coverage and advise client and prospective clients with options; work through complex coverage needs .  

• Review and document internal compliance and client disclosure requirements, policies, endorsements, and certificates to ensure understanding of client expectations, legal requirements, and insurance operations .  

• Help grow the assigned book of business through account rounding and referrals .  

• Support marketing and sales teams .  

• Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures .  

Licenses & Certifications:     

• TX General Agents license,   required .  

Skills & Experience to be Successful:    

• Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverage .  

• 4+ years’ service/retail general agency experience .  

• Experience working with AMS 360 &   ImageRight ,   preferred .  

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite .
