Commercial Lines Account Manager

About this role

Job Overview: The Commercial Lines Account Manager will provide prompt, accurate and courteous service to our clients, producers and company personnel, while offering a high level of support in obtaining, maintaining , expanding and servicing our commercial accounts. The Commercial Lines Account Manager must have a thorough understanding of commercial insurance policies & coverage . The book of business is both new and renewal.   

Responsibilities:  

Client Portfolio Management: Manage a dedicated book of business , ensuring their insurance needs are met and exceeded. Review and work open activities in EPIC daily. Includes, h andl ing endorsements, change requests, billing and certificates , proposals, analyze quotes, order coverages, and checking policies.   

Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments, providing insights and recommendations for coverage adjustments. Review and assist with all client audits or audit disputes.   

Policy Analysis: Analyze property and casualty insurance policies, identifying areas for improvement and customization. Must have a thorough understanding of insurance contracts.   

Renewal Negotiations: Responsible for managing the renewal cycle and coordinating with the Producer on the account including marketing submissions, ensuring the clients receive optimal coverage and terms.   

Client Advocacy: Act as a strong advocate for clients within the organization, collaborating with various teams to address complex client needs.  

Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to Customer Service Representatives, fostering their growth and development.  

Qualifications:  

More than 3 years of licensed experience in Property & Casualty Insurance.  

Proven track record in client management and account development.  

In-depth knowledge of property and casualty insurance products, regulations, and industry trends.  

Strong negotiation and analytical skills .  

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.  

Excellent organization and time management skills.   

Department Account Management & Service

Required Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience

Required Travel: Up to 25%

Required Education: High school or equivalent
