About this role

Business Manager - Sales Analytics, Capital One Travel

Capital One Travel is building category-defining new verticals and we're looking for a Business Manager, Sales Analytics to own the data-and-automation engine behind how we grow supply. The initial scope of this role will focus on Vacation Rentals and expand across Activities and future new verticals . This is a rare blend of analytics depth and hands-on building: you'll use our funnel data and third-party market data to decide which markets and which inventory we should pursue, then build the AI-orchestrated pipeline that actually acquires it — sourcing hosts and property managers, automating outreach, and feeding our self-serve onboarding and business-development motions.

You'll do it in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment with real ownership, a small scrappy team, and AI-native tooling. If you're the kind of person who looks at the process behind the numbers — not just the dashboard — and who has already been wiring up AI workflows to replace manual, low-leverage work, this role was built for you.

Responsibilities: • Market & inventory intelligence: Mine our search and conversion funnel to identify markets with high demand but low conversion — the markets where we're missing supply. Quantify inventory gaps against competitors, including the price points and property profiles we lack.

• Supply targeting strategy: Using third-party datasets, define the profile of inventory worth acquiring. Account for real-world availability — target the tier of high-performing-but-bookable properties, not just the fully-booked top listings.

• AI orchestration & automation: Design and build automated pipelines that identify target listings, source contact information for property-management companies and individual hosts, enrich and de-duplicate that data, and trigger automated outreach. Stand up and iterate on these workflows hands-on, including in Salesforce.

• Lead generation & conversion: Own the supply-acquisition funnel end to end — build the lead pipeline, define qualification criteria, set and improve conversion benchmarks, and route prospects to self-serve onboarding or to a BD salesperson. Continuously tune the workflow to lift conversion.

• Sales operations: Build the reporting, dashboards, triggers, and tooling that make the market-management and BD teams successful, and define the operating process across the function.

• Cross-functional partnership: Work closely with product, market management, business development, marketing, finance, and data partners to turn supply strategy into shipped, measurable outcomes.

• Experimentation & analytics rigor: Bring a strong quantitative orientation — query data directly (SQL), structure analyses, test hypotheses, and make decisions grounded in evidence rather than intuition.

What we're looking for: • A builder-analyst hybrid: as comfortable in SQL and a conversion funnel as you are standing up an automated workflow.

• Demonstrated experience building real AI/automation workflows — you can walk us through a workflow you built, the problem it solved, the time it saved, and the stack you used.

• A track record of growing high-volume lead generation — sourcing, qualifying, and converting at scale (SMB/individual, not enterprise relationship sales), ideally where you replaced a manual or cold-calling process with a technology-driven pipeline.

• Marketplace or two-sided supply experience: you've helped acquire a hard-to-find supply side at volume (e.g., drivers, couriers, hosts, sellers, service pros).

• Scrappy, ownership-minded, and energized by ambiguity and 0→1 work.

As a Business Analysis Manager at Capital One, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges. General Responsibilities:    • Strategic leadership: Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory demands

• Strategic & analytic orientation: A proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics. • Strong business judgment, leadership and integrity: He/she should be a tenacious decision maker, able to bring a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to b
