Our Early Career Business & Technology Development Track is a rigorous, 12-month accelerated program designed for high-performing graduates who thrive in fast-paced, high-expectation environments.
For this specific role, we are looking for a candidate who wants to learn various aspects of our health, safety, environmental and integrity (HSEI) function.
This premier development experience provides unparalleled exposure to our business and leadership while preparing participants to solve complex business challenges and be a strategic partner across our critical energy infrastructure.
Through hands-on challenging assignments, structured learning, strong mentors, and direct exposure to senior leaders, you'll build the financial, analytical, technological, and leadership capabilities needed to succeed in a dynamic and evolving industry. You'll be expected to learn quickly, take ownership, and deliver results while living Williams' values of being collaborative, courageous, creative, and competitive. Start date for this role is June 14, 2027 .
Your journey begins at our corporate headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where you will participate in an intensive six-week onboarding experience focused on: • Building advanced professional, business, and technology capabilities • Developing deep knowledge of the energy industry and Williams' business model • Strengthening financial analysis, business planning, decision-making, and risk management skills • Enhancing communication, collaboration, leadership, and executive presence • Developing data analytics, automation, business intelligence, AI, and digital problem-solving capabilities • Gaining proficiency in tools and technologies used to support business operations and decision-making • Building the resilience and adaptability required to succeed in a dynamic, high-accountability industry
Following the six-week onboarding experience, you will transition into an HSEI assignment. Placement for this role is in New Albany, Ohio . If relocation is required, Williams will provide relocation assistance to support your move.

Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science • Graduate in May 2027 • This position is not eligible for sponsorship (including OPT/CPT) • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record • Willingness and ability to relocate within the United States as business needs require
Preferred Skills & Qualifications • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to take on stretch assignments • Ability to translate complex business, financial, operational, technical, or market information into actionable insights • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint • Ability to learn applications and machine learning concepts • Interest in digital transformation, data-driven decision-making, and innovation • Commitment to safety, ethics, and operational excellence as core values
Day in the life in HSEI Help protect people, communities, and the environment while gaining hands-on experience with real-world regulatory and environmental challenges. In this role, you'll play an important part in ensuring Williams operates safely, responsibly, and in compliance with environmental regulations. You'll work alongside experienced professionals to review new projects and operational changes, evaluate air quality requirements, and support environmental permitting activities across the enterprise. No two days are the same. You may analyze operational data, support emissions testing, work with regulatory agencies, prepare compliance reports, conduct site visits, or collaborate with engineering and operations teams to solve complex environmental challenges. You'll gain exposure to federal and state regulations, including the Clean Air Act, while helping identify practical solutions that keep our operations running safely and sustainably.
