About this role
Location: Medical Center - Fort Worth Department: Maintenance Shift: Third Shift (United States of America) Standard Weekly Hours: 40 Summary: The Building Technician III is a member of the Facilities team responsible for the peak performance of the healthcare facility’s most critical infrastructure. This role oversees the operation and high-level calibration of integrated utility systems, ensuring 100% uptime for life-safety and patient care environments. As the facility’s Subject Matter Expert (SME), the Level III Technician provides expert-level troubleshooting for complex failures while optimizing and integrating Building Automation Systems (BAS).
QUALIFICATIONS Experience • 3-5 years of basic general maintenance experience. • Will consider relevant education in lieu of a portion of work experience. • Demonstrated proficiency in Windows environment.
Education • High School diploma or equivalent.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification • Universal EPA 608 certification.
Grandfather Clause: Employees previously established in the Building Technician job profile III who do not meet the updated educational or certification requirements listed above shall be deemed qualified for their current position based on equivalent professional experience. This status is specific to the current role and level; further advancement within the organization’s technical track may require fulfillment of the updated qualification standards.
