Summary:  The Branch Manager is responsible for driving branch growth, portfolio performance, and profitability through loan production, tax preparation growth, customer retention, and delinquency management in a performance-driven environment. This role generates new business through customer outreach, referrals, and community engagement, evaluates and approves lending decisions, oversees collections efforts, and ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.  The Branch Manager also recruits, develops, and leads a high-performing team while maintaining efficient branch operations and strong customer relationships. 

Compensation   $35,500 to $43,000 , based on experience and location, plus performance-based bonus opportunities. This is a results-driven role where earnings are directly tied to branch performance. Managers who grow their portfolio, drive tax production, and achieve business goals have the opportunity to significantly increase their total compensation.

With over 1,000 branches across 16 states, we are committed to serving the communities where we live and work.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   • Meet branch goals for loan growth, tax preparation production, profitability, portfolio performance, and delinquency. 

• Grow the branch through customer outreach, outbound calling, referrals, community engagement, networking, and promotion of branch products and services. 

• Review, approve, and close loans within company guidelines.  

• Manage delinquency and collection efforts to maintain portfolio performance and minimize losses. 

• Lead, train, coach, and develop branch employees while holding them accountable for performance expectations.  

• Oversee branch operations and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.  

• Handle escalated customer concerns and make sound business decisions that support branch success. 

Basic Requirements   • High school diploma or equivalent 

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current insurance 

• Ability to obtain required insurance licensing 

• Must be able to independently perform all required bank runs, including transporting deposits, without relying on non-employees for transportation. 

• At least one year of management experience or successful completion of management training program 

Experience & Skills   • Experience achieving sales, portfolio growth, or profitability goals  

• Experience making lending, collection, or customer account decisions  

• Experience managing delinquency, collections, or portfolio performance 

• Experience managing branch, store, or business operations  

• Experience leading and developing employees  

• Proven ability to generate business through community involvement, networking, customer referrals, and outbound calling activity. 

• Comfortable working in a performance-driven environment that includes customer outreach, collections, and sales activities 

  Preferred Backgrounds   Experience leading a team, growing a customer portfolio, managing delinquency, making lending or credit decisions, generating new business, and achieving sales and profitability goals in consumer finance, banking, retail banking, lending, credit, insurance, tax preparation, or similar financial services environments preferred. 

Physical and Environmental Requirements:   • Office based role with standard lighting and noise levels  

• Regular in-person attendance during scheduled work hours is essential; occasional extended hours or weekend work may be required based on business needs 

• Combination of stationary work and regular movement throughout the office, including occasional walking, standing, bending, reaching, and similar activities 

• Occasional light lifting, pushing, or pulling of office materials (generally up to 30 pounds) 

• Ability to perform computer work, handle documents, and communicate information effectively 

• Fast paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines; requires professionalism, adaptability, collaboration, and multitasking 

• Frequent interaction with customers and coworkers; must communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, and electronically 

• May assist with general office upkeep to maintain a professional environment 

• Occasional local travel to offsite locations and banks as required for business purposes
