The Branch Manage r oversees daily store operations to achieve or advance sales and margin goals. This involves promoting sales, delivering excellent customer service, nurturing inventory levels, and balancing expenses through purchase supporting . Additionally, the Branch Manager fosters facility and staff alignment to safety and regulatory standards, empowering team members in providing efficient customer service, maintaining good housekeeping, and harmonizing overall operational efficiency. • Provide professional customer service for all internal and external customers and call-in product, pricing, and technical inquiries.

• Support  the outside sales team in  nurturing  existing client relationships and  welcoming  new business opportunities.

• Support the flow of  accurate and timely daily processing of financial transactions, including cash reports, charge tickets, coding, costing, pricing, daily cash summaries, and bank deposits.

• Maintain  the accuracy of back order, open order, and Purchase Order (PO) expedite reports.

• Cultivate and refine  appropriate cylinder and hard goods inventory levels for the branch.

• Facilitate and lead  training for inside sales associates on product knowledge, company policies, processes, procedures, and safety,  ensuring the confidence that  all associates can  perform  essential branch functions.

• Conduct periodic performance reviews for branch associates.

• Act as a  bridge  between employees and management,  providing performance mentorship  and guidance in collaboration with Human Resources and senior management.

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma   or equivalent.

• Strong prioritization and   organizational skills .

• Customer-facing or   retail experience.

• Experience   guiding, supporting, or leading teams .

• Reliability   and strong personal organization.

• Proven managerial experience in a customer-facing environment, coupled with demonstrated expertise in Profit and Loss (P&L) management and the strategic use of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive performance.

• Background in supporting and leading teams within a  retail or industrial distribution environment.

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and occasionally up to 125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment.

• Proficient  computer skills and an interest in learning new digital tools.  The ability to navigate  multiple priorities concurrently

• Self-motivate d with a focus on contributing to the overall team's success.

• Excellent  verbal and written communication skills to effectively act as a bridge between staff and management.

​ Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor Degree in related field.

• 5+ years’ experience in sales with a  track record of meaningful contributions and experience in the welding industry .

• Experience with  inventory cultivation  and  vendor relationship  support.

• Computer experience or basic knowledge of   SAP .
