Analyst - Design Sourcing Systems
Job Description J.Crew is seeking an Analyst – Design Sourcing Systems to support the development, enhancement, integration, and ongoing support of applications that enable the Design, Product Development, MP&A, Sourcing, Logistics, and Supply Chain organizations.
This role partners closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, infrastructure, quality assurance, and external implementation partners to deliver scalable technology solutions supporting FlexPLM, J.Crew Imports (JCI), and related enterprise applications. The ideal candidate combines strong application development, systems analysis, and production support experience to deliver scalable solutions while ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of critical business applications. Role is expected to be onsite three days a week.
Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, implement, and support enhancements for FlexPLM and other Design & Sourcing technology applications, including custom functionality, integrations, reports, and automation solutions. • Provide day-to-day application support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of production issues. • Collaborate with business partners to understand requirements and translate functional needs into scalable technical solutions while supporting application configuration, deployments, integrations, and ongoing maintenance. • Work closely with Infrastructure, Information Security, QA, and external development partners to support Windows and Linux application environments, deployments, troubleshooting, and production support. • Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and production release activities to ensure quality and system stability. • Identify opportunities to modernize applications, improve performance, reduce technical debt, and automate manual processes. • Support strategic initiatives across Design & Sourcing Technology, including FlexPLM enhancements, sourcing enhancements, enterprise integrations, and application modernization.
Qualifications Required • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience. • 0–3 years of experience developing, supporting, or maintaining enterprise business applications. • Experience developing applications using Java or other object-oriented programming languages. • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL, including SQL development. • Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments and enterprise application deployments. • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Preferred • Experience supporting FlexPLM or other Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platforms. • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, ASP.NET, Classic ASP, or PL/SQL. • Experience working with Apache Tomcat, AWS cloud services, or similar enterprise technologies. • Experience with enterprise integrations, APIs, FTP/SFTP, and middleware technologies. • Experience supporting retail, sourcing, product development, or supply chain applications. • Experience working alongside external implementation partners and managed service providers.

Salary Range: $72,500.00 - $89,750.00 At J.Crew Group (JCG) we aim to pay competitively for our company’s size and industry. The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The base salary is just one component of J.Crew Group’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes the opportunity for bonus, competitive benefits and perks
