Position Summary The Advancement Coordinator, Volunteer Leadership reports to the the Director, Volunteer Leadership and assists the Office of Volunteer Leadership with project management and administrative tasks in support and coordination of high level board service (e.g. Board of Trustees, National Councils, Parents Council, Regional Cabinets, and the Alumni Board of Governors) at Washington University. The coordinator will maintain consistent standards to foster optimal volunteer experiences and best practices. This position requires managing a large volume of detailed information, as well as collaborating with stakeholders across University Advancement and WashU. Candidate must be highly motivated, possess strong organizational and time management skills, think critically and display an acute attention to detail.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support the Office of Volunteer Leadership's drive to create an optimal volunteer experience, through activities that include maintaining volunteer biographical profiles in our system of record (ARCH); updating internal and external volunteer websites and affiliated links; and standardizing and maintaining volunteer onboarding materials, agreements, and code of conduct.

• Coordinate and manage overall scheduling, travel logistics, and expense reimbursements for the AVC and Director. Coordinate and schedule twice yearly meetings with all UA stakeholders working with volunteer groups.

• Maintain standards of review for alumni awards for WashU Schools, the Alumni Board of Governors, and others. Maintain standards for review of candidates for National Councils (12 schools and programs), Parents Council, Regional Cabinets, and Alumni Board of Governors.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is located in St. Louis, MO and the targeted hiring range for this position is $21.17 - $24.50 per hour.

Salary Range $21.17 - $32.85 / Hourly

The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
