Caterpillar’s Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is seeking talented Warehouse Associates at our Atlanta Distribution Center.

Additional Information: • Located at 5350 Hunter Road, Atlanta, GA 30349

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Candidates must be able to read, write and conduct business in English 

• Ability to work overtime when required

• At least 1 year of current warehouse experience

• At least 1 year in consecutive employment in previous roles

What You Will Do: • Safely perform the material handling and warehousing processes required in the receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.

• Operate handheld scanner to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.

• Willingness to be trained on and operate cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead cranes/hoists, as well as all other tasks in the operation. Keep in mind, not all available positions operate equipment

• Report defects and need for repairs.

• Utilize pneumatic tools and/or power tools to build and construct wooden shipping containers

• Utilize tools for the application of paint and rust preventative

• Perform housekeeping functions as required

• Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time

• Reliability is important, be on time and maintain a good attendance record to safely and efficiently meet the needs of the customer

• Experience: Demonstrated longevity of at least one year with previous employers. At least one year of current warehouse work.

• Agility: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds individually, walk, sit, stand, squat, and bend over repetitively, throughout your shift with or without reasonable accommodation.      

What You Will Get: • Base wage is $20.60/hour (paid weekly)

• Night shift premium of $1.50/hour for 2nd and 3rd shift

• 11% hourly premium for Alternative Work Schedule shifts (1A, 1B, 2A, 2B)

• Overtime opportunities paid at time and a half (some may be mandatory)

What to Expect After Applying: • Candidates will receive an online assessment to complete after applying.

• Candidates who successfully complete the online assessment and meet qualifications will be contacted by our Talent Acquisition Team to discuss your qualifications and answer any questions you may have.

• Candidates that have passed the phone screen will be contacted and scheduled for an interview.

Available Shifts: Actual shift availability varies week by week and successful candidates will be started as soon as a position becomes available on their requested shift. Please note that this could mean a sizable waiting period before starting.

5 Day Schedules • Second Shift : 1:00pm-9:30pm, Monday- Friday

• Third Shift: 9:00pm-5:30am, Sunday-Thursday

3 Day Schedules • 1B: Thursday-Saturday 3:00am-3:30pm

• 2A: Sunday-Tuesday 3:00pm-3:30am

• 2B: Wednesday-Friday 3:00pm-3:30am

Other Shifts That Could Become Available: • First Shift: 5:00am-1:30pm, Monday-Friday

• 1A: Monday-Wednesday 3:00am-3:30pm
