About this role

HADRIAN - MANUFACTURING THE FUTURE

Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America. By combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we help aerospace and defense companies build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost.

Following our $1.37B Series D at a $7.87B valuation, Hadrian is rapidly expanding our manufacturing footprint, launching new capabilities across welding, casting, forging, electronics, additive manufacturing, and more, while scaling our Factory-as-a-Service platform to transform how critical products are built.

Backed by leading investors including JPMorgan Chase, Valor Equity Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, 137 Ventures, Lux Capital, T. Rowe Price, and Morgan Stanley, we’re building the future of American manufacturing—and looking for exceptional people to help make it happen.

If you’re ready to take on the most challenging and rewarding work of your career while helping create American manufacturing jobs for generations to come, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.

THE ROLE

Hadrian is seeking a Vice President of Partnerships & Capital Markets. The VP of Partnerships & Capital Markets will own end-to-end financial and deal structuring and execution across Hadrian’s most strategic external capital market, commercial and federal initiatives. This role sits at the center of the company’s next phase of scale, spanning three core lanes: (1) complex partnerships and government-scale contract structures, (2) debt capital markets, and (3) M&A, in close partnership with the CFO and CEO.

This role can sit in Los Angeles, CA, San Francisco, CA, or New York City, New York.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Structure creative, scalable financing solutions aligned with Hadrian's hypergrowth manufacturing expansion and multibillion-dollar program pipeline.

- Lead debt capital markets strategy and execution, including near-term plans to raise large amounts of debt to fund capacity buildout and accelerate growth.

- Understand and deploy across the full capital stack, debt, equity, and hybrid structures, optimizing cost of capital, flexibility, and long-term control.

- Lead sourcing, structuring, and execution of M&A opportunities that support Hadrian's manufacturing footprint and capability expansion.

- Run financial modeling, valuation, and diligence for acquisition targets, working alongside the CEO and CFO from initial thesis through close.

- Build the corporate development function's process discipline — decision frameworks, deal templates, and a repeatable playbook for high-velocity execution.

- Build and run financial and economic planning and negotiation for Hadrian's largest, most complex partnerships, including government-adjacent programs and prime-enabled structures, with accountability for contract terms, economics, risk allocation, and execution path alongside the CEO, CFO, and Federal sales teams.

- Architect and negotiate multi-year commercial partnerships, balancing technical specifications, IP protections, and delivery milestones with sophisticated financial incentives.

- Operate as a hands-on deal player-coach, able to move seamlessly from board-level narrative to detailed technical diligence and negotiation.

- Build a world-class deal desk over time through hiring and mentoring, scaling the function as deal volume grows.

- Navigate ambiguity, speed, and scale in high-stakes contracting environments where incomplete information is normal and outcomes matter.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- 10+ years across senior in-house capital markets, corporate development, investment banking, or structured finance roles within a high-growth, asset-intensive company.

- Direct experience leading both debt raises (hundreds of millions to multi-billion-dollar range) and M&A transactions, ideally in support of physical asset or infrastructure buildout at scale.

- Proven ability to architect and negotiate complex, multi-party commercial partnerships with government and commercial customers, ensuring contracts are bankable assets that support large-scale debt and equity financing.

- Background in sectors requiring innovative capital formation to scale quickly — data centers, energy, industrial automation, advanced manufacturing, infrastructure platforms, or capital-intensive fintech.

- Track record of building new financing and deal models rather than operating solely within established, legacy institutions.

- U.S. citizenship required (ITAR/export control) and eligible to obtain/maintain security clearances. Willingness to travel as needed.

LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES

- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex deal mechanics into clear, strategic narratives for the Board and CEO.

- Comfortable personally operating in the details of underwriting, modeling, and contractual mechanics - a true player-coach.

- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple live transactions across capital markets, M&A, and partnerships simultaneously while maintaining precision and forward momentum.

BENEFITS FOR FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES

- Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans for employees

- 401k

- Relocation support may be provided for certain situations, based on business need.

- Flexible vacation policy

- Equity
