About The Team

Welcome to the Finance team at Invisible. We're a dedicated group focused on financial strategy, analysis, and compliance to drive the company's success. Our mission is to provide comprehensive financial guidance and support across all facets of the organization.

The Strategic Finance team plays a crucial role in addressing some of the company's most critical business challenges. This team owns the company's budget, drives quarterly and annual planning processes, allocates and deploys the company's resources, conducts financial analyses in collaboration with all departments, owns financial planning systems, and plays a central role in investor relations.

We are looking for a VP of Finance to lead this function. This is a leadership role for someone with a private equity background who can own FP&A, Strategic Finance, and budgeting end to end, while acting as a strategic partner to the executive team and the Board.

What You'll Do

• Own FP&A, Strategic Finance, and budgeting as a function, setting the strategy, structure, and standards for how the company plans, forecasts, and allocates resources

• Build and lead the team responsible for quarterly and annual planning, budgeting, and long-range financial modeling

• Serve as a strategic thought partner to the executive team and cross-functional leaders, ensuring resource allocation aligns with company priorities and key investments

• Drive alignment on KPIs and key metrics across the company, providing executive-level visibility into operating performance, growth initiatives, and business trends

• Own the measurement of efficiency and ROI across headcount and non-headcount investments company-wide

• Lead capital planning, corporate finance, and investor relations efforts, including direct engagement with the Board of Directors

• Lead capital raise and M&A activity end to end, including:

• Setting investor outreach strategy and leading engagement

• Owning due diligence processes

• Directing the creation of investor presentations and other board and investor-facing assets

• Partnering with internal and external legal teams

• Own the administration and strategy of the company's equity compensation plans, including forecasting, analysis, and close partnership with Hiring and People leadership

• Lead financial modeling and valuation analysis for strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, partnerships, and other capital allocation decisions

• Own investor communications and relationship management, including presentations and key reporting to the Board of Directors and Executive Team

• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing Strategic Finance team as the function grows

What We Need

• 8+ years of progressive experience in private equity, investment banking, strategic consulting, or corporate finance, with direct private equity experience required

• A track record of owning FP&A, budgeting, or strategic finance functions at a leadership level

• Strong ability to critically evaluate opportunities and risks in financials at an executive level

• Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans for the executive team and Board

• Proven experience building and leading teams, with strong project management skills across cross-functional initiatives

• Expert modeling skills, with experience building and overseeing complex operating models

• Excellent presentation and writing skills, with the ability to clearly communicate business issues, financial results, and strategy at the Board and executive level

• Best-in-class attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy

• Ability to quickly identify and methodically resolve roadblocks across a growing organization

Salary Range $221,000 — $286,000 USD

*Offers will also include bonus + equity

For candidates outside the U.S., compensation is adjusted to reflect local market conditions and cost of living.

Bonuses and equity are included in all offers. Final compensation is determined by a combination of factors, including location, job-related experience, skills, knowledge, internal pay equity, and overall market conditions. Because of this, every offer is unique. Additional details on total compensation and benefits will be discussed during the hiring process.
