About this role
Iterative Health is a healthcare technology and services company powering the acceleration of clinical research to transform patient outcomes.
We built a leading performance-driven network of 100+ sites across the US, Europe, India, and Australia, conducting research directly in the communities where care is delivered across gastrointestinal, hepatology, obesity, and cardiology. By combining deep clinical trial expertise with cutting-edge AI, we connect sponsors' scientific ambitions with high-performing research teams that expedite and expand access to novel therapeutics for patients in need. Today, Iterative Health is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and New York City with 250+ employees world-wide.
Iterative Health is building the operating infrastructure for the next generation of clinical research, and we're looking for a founder-minded operator to build and run a new business inside it: our non-interventional, biological specimen collections research business.
As the Vice President, Non-Interventional Research at Iterative Health you will have a unique opportunity to build and lead a new business within a rapidly growing healthcare technology company. You will have end-to-end ownership of our non-interventional, biological sample collections business, serving as the leader responsible for defining strategy, driving commercial growth, building operational infrastructure, and delivering financial performance.
You will operate with broad autonomy and accountability, leading the business from concept to scale. This is not a role where you'll inherit a fully scaled organization—you'll build it, from developing the go-to-market strategy and establishing operational excellence to building and leading a high-performing team.
We're looking for a proven builder—someone who has successfully launched, scaled, and led a healthcare services business, thrives in entrepreneurial environments, and is excited by the opportunity to create lasting impact. If you're energized by turning vision into execution and building businesses that improve patient care and clinical research, this is an exceptional opportunity to do just that.
Where You’ll Drive Impact
• Own full P&L accountability for the non-interventional research business, including revenue, cost, and margin performance.
• Own the go-to-market strategy for Iterative Health's non-interventional research business — defining the service offering, target customer segments, competitive positioning, and path to scale.
• Work with Life Sciences to scope the collections service model, establish pricing frameworks, and develop the materials and narrative needed to bring the offering to market.
• Partner with the Life Sciences team to develop and progress a pipeline of collections studies, supporting sponsor engagement and proposal development.
• Identify and size the resourcing, infrastructure, and capability requirements needed to support the strategy and inform investment decisions.
• Lead the end-to-end build-out of the non-interventional research business — standing up operational capabilities and establishing the processes and infrastructure needed to execute at scale.
• Work cross-functionally with site operations leaders and executive leadership to identify and onboard the right sites and networks network to stand up and support collections studies across different therapeutic areas and specialty networks
• Own vendor contracting and relationships, including selection, negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing performance management for all collections-related vendors.Own execution quality and sponsor satisfaction on active collections studies, serving as the senior point of escalation and ensuring trials are delivered to the highest standard.
• Define and track KPIs across the business; use performance data to identify gaps, course-correct quickly, and communicate progress to senior leadership.
• Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team including pre-screeners, central Clinical Research Coordinators, and a Clinical Operations Manager — setting clear performance targets and maintaining a high-performance culture.
• Set the operational tempo for the team — running structured operations, maintaining visibility into study and team performance, and driving accountability at every level.
• Performs related duties as requested

• Proven people leadership experience with a track record of building, developing, and scaling teams through periods of growth.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes workstreams simultaneously.
