Job Overview: LPL Financial is seeking a with strong Product, Data Quality, Data Governance, and Operations experience within LPL's Data Experience organization. This highly visible leadership role sits at the intersection of Product, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and Advisor Solutions , driving strategic initiatives that improve advisor experiences, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will bring deep financial services experience, including knowledge of custody and non-custody platforms, data feeds, APIs, investment and retirement products, and the regulatory environment. This leader will own complex business capabilities from strategy through execution, partnering across business and technology teams to deliver transformational initiatives.
Beyond traditional product management, this role requires strong operational leadership, governance, and stakeholder management skills. The VP will help define product strategy and roadmap priorities, establish scalable operating models, drive process improvements, manage cross-functional dependencies, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Success in this role requires the ability to influence executive stakeholders, lead enterprise-wide programs, balance client experience with risk and controls, and deliver measurable results in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. The VP will work closely with product teams, business leaders, and technology partners to prioritize investments, improve operational performance, develop governance and reporting frameworks, and drive execution against strategic goals. This leader will serve as a key partner to senior leadership, providing the insights, transparency, and direction needed to support LPL's continued growth and digital transformation.
Responsibilities: • For ensuring external and internal data is validated before flowing downstream to business and operations teams.
• Meet with Stakeholders to understand the strategic vision for the Product
• Collaborate with the Product Manager to define Features
• Break Features down to User Stories and prioritize the Product Backlog
• Be a conduit between the Scrum Team and the Business to eliminate interruption
• Drive collaboration and coordination across business and technology throughout the development process
• Communicate with stakeholders, end users, business and IT and manage partner their expectations
• Bring business expertise that prioritizes and accepts the work developed by team(s)
• Assist the Scrum Team with creating Acceptance Criteria and defining the team’s “Definition of Ready” and ‘Definition of Done”
• Be available to the Scrum Team to answer questions about the Product by attending Scrum Ceremonies
• Showcase the Scrum Team’s accomplishments and receive feedback at Demo & Review
• Be an advocate for the Scrum Team and explain their capabilities and limitations to the Business, and set the team up for success
• Contribute to the efforts of the Digital Transformation and Product Management team by executing strategies that help CLR evolve into an industry leading organization, delivering enviable digital functionality and customer experiences.
• Contribute to the governance and production of the department’s executive-level dashboard, which includes key performance metrics that provide transparency and a view into our progress towards achieving strategic objectives
• Establish effective working relationships with all stakeholders and ensure effective portfolio communications
• Ensure effective reporting of all products to enable stakeholders, sponsors and management to make appropriate decisions

Requirements: • Minimum 15+ years of experience across product management, business transformation, strategy execution, operations leadership, data governance, business process optimization, program management, or related leadership roles within financial services.
• Minimum of 10 years participating, developing, cultivating, and leading strong, high-performing teams in an agile environment
• Minimum of 5 years serving as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Product Manager, Capability Owner, or equivalent leadership role driving strategic business outcomes.
• Experience owning enterprise products, business capabilities, operating models, or data domains with significant regulatory, operational, risk, client, or financial impact. Demonstrated experience with data quality, data governance, controls, reconciliations, reporting, or operational risk management.
Core Competencies : • Looking for someone who is hands-on with data and product ownership , not solely an enterprise strategist or governance leader.
• Demonstrated success leading large transformation programs involving business process redesign, technology modernization, and organizational change.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management, controls, audit, and regulatory environments.
• Experience developing executive-level reporting, metrics, business cases, and strategic planning materials.
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive alignment across large organizations.
• Experience working within Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Brokerage, Custody, Retirement Services, or related financ
