The Vice President, Product is responsible for defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap for the Nexity platform. This role leads the Product Management and Product Design teams, partnering closely with Engineering, Sales, Operations, and executive leadership to deliver innovative, scalable software and hardware solutions that align with business objectives and customer needs. The Vice President drives product strategy, prioritization, customer discovery, and cross-functional execution while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Compensation: Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The annual base pay range for this position is $190,000 - $232,000.
Benefits: Employees are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and vision insurance, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, and telemedicine benefits. Employees are provided company-paid basic life and AD&D insurance as well as short-term and long-term disability. Employees are also able to enroll in the company’s 401k retirement savings plan.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Descriptive Statement(s) • Develop and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Nexity platform, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, customer needs, and market opportunities. • Lead, mentor, and develop Product Managers and Product Designers while establishing best practices for product management, product discovery, requirements development, and roadmap planning. • Partner with Engineering, Architecture, and Quality Engineering to translate business objectives into scalable product solutions, ensuring high-quality requirements, acceptance criteria, and successful product delivery. • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Customer Success, and executive leadership to evaluate customer feedback, prioritize enhancement requests, and balance market opportunities with long-term product strategy. • Conduct customer research and market analysis to identify trends, validate product opportunities, and drive data-informed product decisions across hospitality, healthcare, commercial parking, and emerging markets. • Define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release priorities while ensuring product documentation supports successful software development and implementation. • Lead product launch planning, commercialization activities, pricing and packaging recommendations, and go-to-market readiness in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders. • Utilize AI-assisted product development tools to improve product planning, documentation, analysis, and overall team productivity while promoting responsible AI adoption across the product organization. • Establish and monitor key product performance metrics, communicate roadmap progress and product strategy to executive leadership, and continuously evaluate opportunities to improve customer experience and business outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Work Experience:
• 8+ years of progressive product management experience, including 3+ years leading product teams. Experience managing enterprise B2B software platforms that integrate hardware, IoT, payments, connected devices, or similar technologies is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills: • Demonstrated success developing product strategy, managing product roadmaps, defining product requirements, and delivering enterprise software solutions from concept through launch. • Experience leading cross-functional teams and partnering effectively with Engineering, Sales, Operations, Customer Success, and executive leadership within a distributed or global organization. • Strong understanding of modern product management methodologies, Agile software development, customer discovery, market analysis, pricing strategy, and product lifecycle management. • Experience utilizing AI-assisted product management tools and leveraging data-driven decision making to improve product development and customer outcomes. • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive strategic decisions.
