About this role: The Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team within CIB Capital Markets is seeking an experienced Vice President for the Energy & Power ECM team.

In this role, you will: • Lead complex initiatives as a high level individual contributor in the Fixed Income Sales, Equities Sales, Trading, or Investment Banking Capital Markets Divisions, including those that are cross-functional and have broad impact • Participate in large-scale planning for Investment Banking functional area • Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, large-scale, and long-term business, operational, or technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors • Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring understanding of Investment Banking functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that influence and lead a broader work team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives • Collaborate and consult with Investment Banking peers, colleagues, and middle to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals • Lead Investment Banking projects and teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications: • Experience in the Equity Capital Markets products • Energy and Power industry experience • Ability to develop and execute business vision, strategies, and goals • Investment banking experience • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics • Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills • Strong credit skills • Strong risk management skills • Ability to analyze trends in the competitive marketplace and related marketing developments • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment

Job Expectations: • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and FINRA Series 63 and 79 examinations, or equivalent must be completed within either a 90 or 180-day time period following commencement of employment, depending upon the number of license(s) needed if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. This will be communicated at time of offer acceptance. Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory. In addition to state registration and licensing requirements, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA licensing review process at the time of offer acceptance. For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite is required.   • This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to compliance with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents. • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Information will be shared about expectations during the recruitment process.

Pay Range   Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities. $185,000.00 - $300,000.00 Benefits
