About this role
We are a fast, small practice focused on providing loving, family friendly care to the pets of our community. We are looking for a personable individual who will add to our work culture and join us in delivering high quality care to our clients and pets. We have been serving the community for over 30 years and are known for our welcoming, warm atmosphere and compassionate staff. We truly care, not only for our pet parents and patients, but also for the well-being and work-life balance of our staff! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Greeting clients and patients as they arrive for appointments and notifying technical staff when they arrive. • Checking in/out patients; processing payments. • Answering phone calls and routing calls as necessary; processing faxes and emails in a timely manner. • Acting as a liaison to effectively communicate information between clients and medical staff. • Coordinating and scheduling appointments; identifying potential emergencies and scheduling them appropriately; confirming appointments. • Maintaining and ensuring accuracy of client/patient accounts; entering and obtaining previous medical records for new patients and updating accounts as necessary. • Client education; becoming familiar with preventatives, vaccinations, routine testing, etc. to be able to confidently discuss with clients • Maintaining hospital cleanliness.
Candidates must be comfortable handling patients and communicating with clients on a regular basis. Full-time employees are eligible for complete benefits. Part-time employees receive a generous employee discount. We look forward to hearing from you!
Experience: • Customer service: 2 years (Required) • Veterinary clinic: 1 year (Required)
