About Our Team:
You will work in the US Neurology and Immunology team of the Health Economics and Value Assessment (HEVA) department. The HEVA department gathers a wealth of expertise including experts in Health Economic and Outcomes Research (HEOR), Indirect Treatment Comparison & Network Meta Analysis (ITC/NMA), Modelling, Health Technology Assessment (HTA), epidemiology, biostatistics, and generation of real word evidence (RWE). We are one bold HEOR team leveraging innovative HEOR to transform patient care and access. As HEOR experts, we lead the generation and dissemination of robust, business-relevant evidence to demonstrate value and drive access to medicines. Main responsibilities:
This role will support tactical execution of US HEVA work for Neurology (Multiple Sclerosis, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy) and Next Generation Immunology assets (Atopic Dermatitis, Celiac Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, IgG4-related diseases, Nasal Polyps, etc.).
The primary responsibilities are to:
Strategic Business Impact & Technical Ability
• Design and execute Health Economic and Outcomes Research (HEOR) research in the forms of economic modeling, database analysis, observational research, systematic literature review, evidence synthesis, post hoc analysis of clinical trials, AMCP dossier development and other types of HEOR studies/deliverables to support value demonstration and differentiation in US market
• Drive measurable business impact through execution of HEVA tactics that directly support commercial objectives and market access goals compliantly and efficiently
• Execute comprehensive US HEVA tactics for the Neurology and Immunology portfolios, contributing to strategic planning and ensuring alignment with broader portfolio objectives
• Partner with U.S. Medical Affairs/Value & Access to ensure appropriate use of HEOR evidence in field communications and training
• Collaborate with Value & Access, US Medical Affairs, and Policy teams to deliver evidence that informs value frameworks, PDAB and ICER responses, value-based contracting strategies, etc.
• Set HEOR evidence generation priorities independently for assigned Neurology and Immunology indications and translate Target Value Propositions and US market access strategies into evidence hypotheses, requirements, and generation plans that address the unmet needs of payers, providers, and health systems
Internal Partnerships and Management Engagement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams — including commercial, medical affairs, clinical development, and market access — to ensure pricing and access decisions are aligned with the demonstrable value of the Neurology and Immunology pipelines
• Align closely with the Global HEVA team to ensure US insights inform global strategies and coordinate evidence generation, modeling, and evidence synthesis activities
• Communicate complex health economics concepts and strategic recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders with clarity and impact, including presentations to senior leadership
• Influence key business decisions through data-driven insights and strategic HEVA recommendations
• Ensure clinical development plans for Neurology and Immunology indications are designed to deliver true differentiation aligned to Sanofi's best-in-class or first-in-class ambition, with particular attention to US payer value demonstration
• Contribute to US launch readiness planning and execution for Neurology and Immunology launch assets
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge
• Apply knowledge of global and US-specific HTA processes and guidelines; experience with HTA submissions strongly preferred
• Ensure all HEOR activities comply with relevant internal SOPs and external laws and regulations
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the legal and regulatory environment of the pharmaceutical industry, with demonstrated integrity on compliance considerations and solid ethics
